I loved the watch the minute I unboxed it and put it to work. Looks great at day time as glows in the dark. The magnifying glass not only enhances the face but can be used as a magnifying glass and as a stand on night table. I liked it so much that I upgraded it with an pure silver vest chain. The winding is very smooth to the touch...and so far keeps excellent time. The big numbers on the face plus the half moon indicting day and night have effective visibility. This without a doubt is a good quality pocket watch. RECOMMENDED

I like this thing a lot. Has heft, feels sturdy, and looks really cool. I really like the fact it’s automatic, I hadn’t seen many automatic pocket watches. I noticed that it wasn’t keeping good time, like many reviews mentioned. Thing is, in my pocket it stays pretty still and it just doesn’t get enough of the motion to spin the rotor in my while in my pocket. I’ve made a habit of twisting the crown or shaking it every once in a while and it now it’s fine. Also the complication isn’t moon phase, it’s a sun and moon to designate AM and PM. Seriously cool looking.

Price was good. Shipping fast. Manual watch that includes an automatic winder. I like how the watch face and works are visible front and back. And that the lens on the front is also a magnifier. I also like that the magnifier can be opened and folded under the watch, allowing it to sit propped up on a table.

I PUSHED IT BACK INTO POSITION, WHICH APPEARED TO FIX IT. AFTER ABOUT 2 WEEKS IT FELL OUT AGAIN. THIS SEEMED TO BE TOO MINOR OF AN ISSUE FOR RETURNING IT SO I DABBED SOME SUPER GLUE IN THE RING AND REATTACHED THE LENS. THEN IN DEC. THE WINDER KNOB STARTED FEELING ODD. THERE WAS A KIND OF DRAGING FEEL WHEN WINDING. THIS HAS A WINDING MECHANISM SO I JUST STARTED USING THE AUTOMATIC WINDER I HAVE TO KEEP IT WOUND UP. NOW IT HAS STARTED KEEPING ERRATIC TIME, SPEED UP OR SLOW DOWN BY ITSELF. I HAVE KIND OF DID THIS TO MY SELF, WAITING UNTIL THE PRODUCT SUPPORT PERIOD HAS LAPSED. I DO HAVE ANOTHER OGLE-SELF-WINDING POCKET WATCH WITH DAY, DATE FEATURES THAT WORKS FINE SO THIS MAY JUST BE A ONE-OFF THING, BUT. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS WATCH; IT FEELS LIKE I JUST THREW AWAY $65.

I've only had the watch for about two weeks, but it keeps perfect time, and is beautiful. It has a nice heavy feel, and seems to be made well. Love it so far

I absolutely love this watch but I do have an issue or two with it...sometimes it loses 2 to 3 hours for no apparent reason and I dont know why...it loses about one minute a day also but I can live with that but when it loses several hours it's bad because you never know when it's going to happen..other than that I love it..great looking watch..had lots of nice compliments on it...it anyone can give me any suggestions on what to do about it losing time I'd love to hear from you....

Novel idea with the cover doubling as a stand but needs some way to secure it when closed as it very easy to open accidentally in the pocket, otherwise impressed with the heft and timekeeping

I like oversized personal implements, like fountain pens. This watch is bulky, bulkier given its covering magnifying glass. It's a trifle fast (3 minutes every 3 says) but who cares? You wind it and adjust it every couple of days - big deal! The design is less than perfect since the magnifying cover flips down to become a watch-rest, which works well BUT, the angle is too acute - 90 degrees, when it should be more like 110-120. Big deal? No - you get used to it. Wonderful watch. Requires an oversized pocket watch case which is a slight problem. I LOVE this watch!

L'orologio è di dimensioni importanti che lo rendono particolarmente appariscente. La forma è piacevole nella parte frontale, un po' meno nella posteriore dove le incisioni risultano ancora più vistose ed eccessive. Totalmente privo di regolazioni sia per il quadrante piccolo con le 24 ore che per le "Fasi lunari" che poi fasi lunari non sono perché come scritto in altre recensioni segna solo giorno e notte (inutili entrambi). Al momento funziona ma francamente mi aspettavo di meglio.
