Very efficient and easy to install. Buy Nylog!
This unit works really well even on some really hot days in the 100's. The ECO mode works great for maintaining the temperature after the room has been cooled, so far it hasn't been particularly expensive to run, I use it in my bedroom at night so I can't speak for the effectiveness in a large room, but for a bedroom this the cheapest and most efficient way to keep the room comfortable in the summer. I haven't tried out the heater yet, but that'll be in an update in the future. The unit is very quiet, you can barely tell it's on, the mute setting is probably not the most efficient setting but it does keep the room around 3 degrees of the set temperature late at night and it doesn't make the room drafty. The only qualm with this unit is the blower doesn't shut off after the set temperature is reached and it sometimes gets a lot colder than the set temperature, I had it set to 65 and it got down to 51 one night, I don't know why that happened, but on the ECO mode it seems to stay within the set temperature range until I turn it off. The app works great and is very easy to use, there's a setting to purify the air and it seems to work, although there's some debate on the potential dangers of being in an enclosed room while it's set, due to some ozone being produced. There's also some timer settings and a sleep mode that allows for the temperature to be gradually changed throughout the night until it turns off. The unit was very easy to install, the hardest part is making a hole in the wall and bending the lines, everything is very basic. You will need some extra things to install it. I bought a whip to run power to the main unit directly from the breaker box and a pull out disconnect. I used a vacuum pump to vacuum out the lines and check for leaks, I used Nylog on the fittings, I highly recommend it, I had no leaks whatsoever, overall it's very easy to install and can be done in 2-3 hours depending on what your walls are made of and the distance you have to run the lines.

Amazon Made It Right โ Great Product Overall
First off, I want to thank Amazon for stepping up and making things right. That kind of customer service goes a long way. As for the product itself โ very simple to install, the instructions were clear and easy to follow, and everything was straightforward to work with. Once installed, it performs great and delivers nice, cold air just like it should. Overall, Iโm happy with both the product and the support behind it.

Great product, affordable, and easy to install
Iโve been using the YITAHOME 12000 BTU mini split for a few months now, and Iโm really impressed with how well it performs. The cooling power is excellent. Purchased for our ADU we built. It easily 500 sqft area cool even during hot afternoons, and the heating function works surprisingly well on chilly nights. Installation took some time but was very straightforward thanks to the complete kit and clear instructions. I appreciated that everything needed was included, which saved me an extra trip to the hardware store. Once it was up and running, the unit was whisper-quiet and very energy-efficient. The WiFi control and Alexa compatibility are great modern touches. Being able to adjust the temperature remotely or with voice commands makes daily use super convenient. Overall, this YITAHOME mini split offers strong performance, sleek design, and features that usually cost much more in other brands. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable ductless system without breaking bank.

Do not buy. Doesn't even blow cold air.
After seeing some of the reviews I decided to try this ac. I needed to replace a 12000btu Soleus Air unit I bought 11 years ago that finally died. It worked really well and I was hoping this unit would do the same. Well...the first one lasted 2 days before it was blowing warm air only. And it never really blew cold air either. It was more like cool-ish air. I reached out to Amazon for a replacement which came with its own set of issues but they sent a replacement. It's lasted more than two days (on day three...) and, like the first one, never blew actual cold air. It's cool-ish. Now on day three it's even less cool. After running literally all day it can't even cool my 400 square foot office. My old Soleus Air unit could make the room downright cold. And it was the exact same 12000btu. I will be reaching out to the company for support and will update this review if anything changes. But my advice is do not buy this unit.

Works Great and Easy to Install โ App Setup Needs Work
Purchased on 3/18/25, and this YITAHOME 12,000 BTU mini split has been working great so far. It cools and heats efficiently and keeps the space comfortable without running constantly. Once installed, itโs quiet and performs exactly as advertised. The physical installation was surprisingly easy for a mini split. If youโre even moderately handy, itโs very doable. Just be aware that you will need a vacuum pump and a manifold gauge set to properly evacuate the lines โ those are not optional and not clearly emphasized. My only real complaint is the app setup. The Wi-Fi instructions are practically non-existent, and getting it connected took way longer than it should have. Once connected it works fine, but the setup process is frustrating. Overall, itโs a great unit for the price with strong performance and straightforward installation. With better Wi-Fi instructions, this would easily be a 5-star product.

Very efficient, excellent warming/cooling. REQUIERES VACUUM PUMP or HVAC professional.
I did have a problem with my initial delivery, but that issue was handled pretty smoothly with amazon return. Rockey start aside, and after having used this product for hot and cold weather, I am extremely satisfied with the output of this thing. I live in a single wide trailer (525sq ft) with failing insulation and draft holes everywhere and have been able to stay comfy on either end of the house, with the added bonus of a drop in the electric bill compared to window units and space heaters. install was easy and rather intuitive. However, YOU WILL NEED A VACUUM PUMP to draw the initial vacuum, it is not explicitly stated and to someone with no HVAC exp. this is not something you would inherently know ("Quick Connect" units DO NOT require you to draw the vacuum). This is the only "skilled" portion of the install. That being said it is easy to do but requires a good amount of attention to detail. you can typically hire a HVAC guy for around the same cost of a vacuum pump, use at your own discretion. I have no real complaints about it. it is insanely quiet; you can barely tell when the indoor unit is on; you hear the air 'whooshing' more than the fan. The outdoor unit is also really quiet and cannot even really be heard inside. Even with this place not being sealed, it is able to keep the humidity down during the summer and is doing well so far this winter. the remote is just a nice quality of life improvement as well. Product is exactly as advertised and far exceeds expectations. I even have family and visitors, unprompted, ask me where I got it because of how nice if feels in the house.

Wish I could give it 10 stars
This is going to be long so TL;DR this thing keeps my 1150 sq ft house comfortable in the summer. We added a bedroom on to our house and decided to put this in it with the hopes that it would keep that bedroom, an adjoining bathroom, and next door bedroom comfortable. This thing is a BEAST. The way my home is laid out, it is a straight line from this unit to the other one (a different brand) across the house in my living room. I rarely even have to use the other one in the main part of our house because this one keeps the entire house cool. 1150 square feet. I keep it set on 68 and my living room on the other side of the house stays a comfortable 70. Ive attached photos of the clock temp in my living room as well as the current weather reading outside. I want to be clear, this is due in part to the layout of my home. Its very open, the unit is set so it can blow straight through the entire home and we leave all the bedroom and bathroom doors open when they are not occupied. The bedroom where the unit is located probably stays in the low 60s! It is my teenage son's bedroom so he loves it being that cool. You can see in the image the room where this unit is. This room is the addition. The bathroom and next door bedroom were already there, and the main unit (which is twice the size at 24k BTU) on the right side of the house could not keep those two rooms comfortable. I had to run a space heater in both of those rooms over the winter and they were miserable in the summer. I would be sweating my ass off doing laundry or anything else in that bathroom. I bought this unit in March, its now July, we live in the south and it has been a scorching summer. We're at 4 weeks now of upper 80s-90+ temps, heat index upper 90s and low 100s. My home has seriously never been so comfortable. I will come back this winter with an update of how it handles the cold. As for installation, it was very easy, HOWEVER, this is not the first mini split we have installed ourselves. We borrowed a friends vacuum pump and had it fully hooked up in maybe 6 hours, with 2 or so of that just running the vacuum. It went very smoothly. I don't have an Alexa so I cant speak to the wifi/Bluetooth aspect. Its very quiet and the remote makes it super easy to adjust. As for efficiency, I would say its what I would expect? We are a family of 5, so there is a lot of laundry and hot water usage to account for. Ive attached the last weeks electric readings. We have another small unattached room/office that has a window unit that runs maybe 8 hours a day. I really don't know how much of the total electricity is used by that one window unit, maybe $1 a day? So I would say we average about $6 per day without the window unit, and it is always more in the winter. I prepay for our elec and pay $250 each month all year. It averages out to use less than that spring thru fall and more in winter. I took the time to leave this long review because I am so thoroughly impressed with this unit. If my other one ever goes out I will definitely be replacing it with this brand.

Quiet & efficient. Buying another!
We purchased to cool our upstairs bedroom. Had it professionally installed. It is whisper quiet both inside and outside. Perfect for us. One small negative, the app is called AC Freedom. It is not Yita or Yitahome. But the QR code takes you right to the app. All hoses, etc. were included. If we had the vacuum pump, I think it is possible as a do-it-yourself install.
