Raising network speed, versatility and stability into the stratosphere.
Upgrade for my Pi Hole on my Network. Size-wise it's definitely overkill but it's what was available on Amazon. Speed-wise it's perfect. All of my settings were originally on a Micro-SD card (SanDisk) which worked perfectly once it was setup properly. The upgrade however is much faster, with a very enormous storage and operating medium. By rights this will probably outlast the life of the Pi, which appear to live for a LONG TIME! Formatting the card literally took a second, if that. Transferring the files over took a little longer with well over 1,000,000 entries in about a minute or two. Then checking the paths and double checking everything was set according to plan....maybe 2 minutes and I mean I did check EVERYTHING! Once all of the checks were done, performed a re-start, gave it a minute and it's now fully functional with the best of everything available! Probably only the 2nd best investment for my Network, Pi Hole of course being the #1 best investment by far! Now I know my Network is much more secure, stable and was simple to upgrade to the highest level with more than I actually needed. The design of the thumb drive also makes it easily accessible should I ever need to remove it too which in turn makes it also more versatile if I have to work inside of the Network enclosure. I would seriously and highly recommend this exact setup and upgrade with this exact thumb drive too.

Th SAMSUNG FIT PLUS - the absolute best.
This drive in any size is the absolute best. It has been used daily and multiple times abused (unintentionally - left outside, left in pants during wash etc) since purchase on June 28, 2021 . This first unit I owned has not failed YET (although I naturally did emergency backups expecting failure). I have bought and recommended these drives multiple times since. I notice that they are now not easily available on AMAZON; and when available are at VERY premium prices. If you have important CRTICAL data - - they are worth it. The Fit-Plus is a totally different league than the most popular reputable flashdrive brand out there - that has ghosted my data and precious photos many times. Th FIT plus in any size format is the absolute best, and conveniently small as well! Because of this I have one permanently installed in my work laptop for data storage - in case the computer crashes! Extraordinary performance and longevity.

Perfect, Reliable Dashcam Storage for Tesla!
High Capacity, Quick Formatting, and Great Value for Sentry Mode. This Samsung FIT Plus drive is the ideal solution for any Tesla owner needing reliable storage for Sentry Mode and dashcam clips. Performance & Setup: It was easy to use right out of the box. Crucially, it formats quick in the Tesla system, and the speed is excellent for handling constant 4K video recording without dropped frames. Size & Value: The tiny, low-profile design means it sits flush and unobtrusively in the USB port. With 256GB, it offers lots of storage for cheap, making it a fantastic and cost-effective solution for saving many hours of footage. Application: I specifically used it in my Tesla Model X for dashcam clips, and it has worked flawlessly under continuous operation. No heat and easy to connect. If you need a high-quality, high-capacity, and low-profile drive for your Tesla dashcam, this is the one to get. I enthusiastically recommend this drive!

Great for Gaming! , Write Speed Could Be Faster!
Update 7/27/2020: I have continued to use the Samsung Fit USB 3.1 drives as my now "go to" flash drives of choice, I have purchased several of these in various sizes including 32GB, 64GB, 128 and even 256, (and more than 1 of each in most of these sizes). These drives have performed well in my vehicle, my laptop and most importantly my gaming desktop. In fact I have been able to play several older AAA (top rated graphics) games directly from these flash drives without any performance lag and actually performance increase in most cases, but a word of caution they DO GET HOT, like MOST flash media (including SSD drives) so I have found a way to manually "cool" my entire USB hub by using a cheap desktop fan purchased from Amazon! For all the people who say that these drives are cutting off and not being recognized, I restate my point above 1) heat from your usb hub or device "may" be the issue 2) You have to make sure that you have AT LEAST A USB 3.0 port or higher, most newer motherboards and even cars have this and some have USB 3.2 (blazing fast). 3) I have a much older gaming rig that is still amazingly going strong but I have updated it with USB 3.0 ports via a PC Express adapter (sold off Amazon). 4) If you are going to use these for a USB 2.0 port device or lower then just stick with a cheaper flash drive like Transcend or Sandisk that will probably actually perform better on an older (USB 2.0) device, and yes the write speed is about half as fast as the READ speed, I get about 190 MB read, and only about 50 MB write (Crystal Disk Mark), but that still smokes most older Hard Drives. Just my updated opinion! I bought this drive to use with a USB 3.0 port card installed on a older computer and as a supplement to another 32 GB Samsung Fit I was already using to speed up my system (Windows Readyboost). As long as you have USB 3.0 or 3.1 ports on your computer, or an adapter card installed you can get close to 200 Mb/s read speeds, using Crystal Disk Mark I got READ speeds at 189 mb/s and WRITE speeds at 46 Mb/s, (on PEAK Performance Test). mind you these speeds are still faster than my Seagate FireCuda Hybrid SSHD drive and any of my old WD classic hard drives (on my system ), but they wouldn't be faster than a built in SSD. As far as gaming I've been able to run most smaller games (less than 10 GB ) off of this drive no problem, this works well for many of those 2D and mini 3D games that you can find off the Steam Store and other places. However, I've tried to run some older AAA Title games like Far Cry off this drive and while it did load much faster than running it off my built in hard drive, it lead to game crashes and system reboots, but the problem could be that my Motherboard is to dated to handle those large data streams coming in from the PCI port ( its not even PCI 3.0 I think Installed USB 3.0 port, not built in). Overall though solid performance so far and with the faster speeds of these "cheap" USB drives as a gamer or maybe even some light video editing, these drives are a good alternative to eating up internal hard drive space! So far very impressed and so much that its convinced me to purchase a Samsung T5 external SSD, I definitely think SSD is the future of storage and with USB 3.1 Gen 2 the speeds are supposed to get ridiculous (side note) but I definitely think that these drives perform better for opening programs and doing gaming, and may be able to breathe life into an older system, providing you have at least USB 3.0, with 2.0 I wouldn't bother because the read and write speeds wouldn't show any major improvements.

Overall a good product (size, speed, temperature), but occasionally loses connection to computer
UPDATE: After 2.5 years, the occasional lost connection still happens -- but has not gotten any more frequent. Seems to happen only during longer computing sessions. Possibly temperature related, though drive does not get excessively hot. RATING: 4.0 stars. Overall we like the size, performance, and price. We mostly use this drive for weekly file backups, temporary file downloads, or for transferring large files between computers. Problem (minus 1 star): We may have received a defective one, as it loses the USB connection occasionally on any computer it's plugged into. Minor dislike (NO demerits): the Samsung FIT does not include any encryption software, such as that provided by SanDisk or some other brands. However, you could of course add your own encryption software if desired. BEST FEATURE (other than above-average read speeds) is that it doesn't stick out as far as most 'thumb' drives do, making it easier to store your laptop into a case or bag. READ speeds are very good, and near advertised (can approach 400 mb/second). WRITE speeds are usually acceptable (around 110 mb/sec for sequential writes, or 10-30 mb/sec for random writes), and noticeably better than an old 2.0 stick. It will occasionally lose the USB connection to computer (Win 7, 10, or 11, and Linux, too) -- usually after computer has been on for 30+ minutes. Sometimes it reconnects itself back in a few seconds, but other times it's only fixed fixed by unplugging it & plugging it back in. This is NOT a port issue, it's a Samsung problem because it happens on any computer we've used -- laptop, desktop, even a Linux machine, and it happens on USB 2.0 and 3.0/3.1 ports as well. The disconnect happens enough to be aggravating, perhaps 2 or 3 times a week. Twice, it's caused a downloading or transferring file to fail. So be aware, if you get a defective(?) one like we dit, data loss COULD happen. Had we realized the issue was there and wasn't going away, we would have returned it for a replacement. Would we buy Samsung FIT USB again? Yes, we'd try it one more time. Of note, a separate Samsung model (Samsung BAR PLUS USB 3.1, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BPG9YX9 ) has never had the disconnect issue the FIT model has. Side Note: We usually buy SanDisk or Transcend brand USB thumb drives, and have never experienced a defective one. We don't buy Kingston drives any longer, as we've had more than one fail suddenly after only occasional use.

Perfect for use in my Raspberry Pi for LibreElec
I purchased this flash drive specifically to use as the boot drive for my four Raspberry Pi 4 HTPCs running LibreElec, as I was concerned about the write endurance of the Raspberry Pi's SD card. I have been extremely impressed with the performance of this flash drive. The random read/write performance is excellent, and the device boots up much faster than it did with the SD card. The Kodi UI is also more responsive, making it easier to navigate and use. The compact and durable design of the Samsung MUF-64AB/AM Fit Plus 64GB USB 3.1 Flash Drive is perfect for use with Raspberry Pi devices. It fits snugly and securely into the USB port, and I have not had any issues with it coming loose or disconnecting. One of the things I appreciate most about this flash drive is the peace of mind it provides regarding write endurance. I have not yet had any issues with longevity, and I feel much more confident using this flash drive than I did with the SD card. Overall, I highly recommend the Samsung MUF-64AB/AM Fit Plus 64GB USB 3.1 Flash Drive to anyone who wants to improve the performance of their Raspberry Pi device or is looking for a reliable and durable USB flash drive. It has exceeded my expectations and has been an excellent addition to my home theater setup.

A pretty potent USB 'device' -- continued
Talk about 'portability' -- THIS is an extreme example. These little guys are almost TOO SMALL, but I think they couldn't be more handy when you need flash drive CAPACITY. They step up by digital-size measures, based on digital counting (8 bits per byte, 16 bits per word, etc) -- but don't even worry about that. The capacity so far seems 'boundless', and they don't seem to get any bigger as the GigaBytes grow.....I started out with a 128 Gbyte, and proceeded to 256Gbyte, and will next try a 512Gbyte flash drive, and ALL were the exact same small size attached to a USB 3 port connector. And hey! Don't lose it. Speeds up to 400Mbits per second, I believe.....works good for video, for me. NO errors, yet....but, it can get a little warm after hours of use. We'll see about that..... .....incredibly small, and yes, they could use a 'lanyard' or something to keep from losing it, but I've just spent weeks after getting a 512 Gbyte one, filled it up, and evaluated it for errors.....and I BELIEVE that it hasn't gotten any. Now, half a Terabyte is a LOT of memory, especially for such a small device. But it's holding firm and doesn't show any kind of deterioration thus far. I'm going to keep evaluating videos for errors but haven't seen any so far. It's really fantastic for such a small size, as long as I don't lose it! Great device if the SIZE is what you wanted. I think it's got my stamp of approval. (note that IF I DO lose it, it's like losing at least a fifty dollar bill on a windy day......)

Fastest, smallest, best thumb drive you can purchase in 2024
This is a USB-A thumb drive (the older and more universal format). Some people may need a USB-C thumb drive if your device has no USB-A ports. (In that case I recommend the Samsung MUF-256DA/AM for about $5 more but this is the drive to buy if you have a USB-A port). I love the size--the drive extends only a few mm when fully inserted. It's also incredibly fast, easy to insert and remove, and has a hole for a lanyard or keychain. NO USB-C thumb drive can fit this compactly. NO USB-C thumb drive is anywhere near this small. NO USB-C thumb drive has better performance or faster speed. Therefore, the best option for anything except the Macbooks and other devices which lack the universal and standardized USB ports anymore, and ONLY give you a USB-C port, is this thumb drive. For my Macbook I have purchased the Samsung MUF-256DA/AM USB-C thumb drive which has slightly worse performance, sticks out too far, and is flimsier and more prone to damage (it is much easier to hit and bend the drive than this one which is thick and sits almost flush and will not bend when inserted). What would I change about this device? Nothing. The only thing I would change is bringing back the USB-A port on Macbooks so I could use this wonderful drive on my Mac as well as my PC (there are adapters and dongles, which is what Apple loves to sell you these days instead of giving you the Steve Jobs "It Just Works" product). Also, Apple doesn't want you to buy this product instead of their $200 SSD upgrades. I have two of these and they are fantastic. Surprisingly I have not found them to overheat despite their small size.

The perfect usb flash memory stick
As far as I know, this is the smallest usb flash memory stick with the fastest read speed. Write speed is decent at 100mb/s. Got the 256GB model, and so I can expand the storage of my surface laptop. Hope more manufacturer can make nano-size flash drive or SSD drive like this!

Simplesmente Perfeito! Produto TOP!
Recomendo fortemente a compra! Se você está em dúvida, pode ir sem medo - é um investimento que vale cada centavo.
