Incienso de Santa Fe - Piñon Natural Wood Incense Bricks Without Holder, 40 Count - Made in the USA

This is a great alternative to candles and diffusers. I love to have my house smelling fragrant, but not too strong, however I have lots of guests who are sensitive to synthetic fragrances. A friend showed me these and I've been hooked. I've bought countless boxes in the last three years. They smell like a crisp pine forest and a morning camp fire- minus the smoky smell that clings to your clothes and that most people complain about. I find they really make my brain feel awake and hopeful, so I burn one each morning as I prep for the day. This is NOT the type of incense that is heavy, smoky, or makes you feel like you're in the 70's. This is fresh, invigorating, and inviting. Everyone asks me what it is when they come inn the house, and they're always suprised to find out its incense. I've gotten quite a few friends into it because it smells that good. It's a great price for how many you get- I always purchase the 100 pack of Pinon, but the multipack is a nice way to try all of them and have some variety in your day. The incense block is only around an inch long but burns for a while. To get it to stay on and releases scent for a long time- use a lighter and hold the lighter to the end of the block until it ignites and can hold a flame for a few seconds on it's own. If you just burn a corner and let it smoke it will go out in a few minutes. I highly recommend these- they make me feel like hiking and living a healthier life because they're just so fresh and somehow oddly..inspiring? Wild but true.

Ok. I love these so much. I used to live in NM and one of my absolute favorite things about it is how it smelled in the fall. You just can't find that anywhere else!! Since I moved, I have tried to find a way to get that smell - I succeeded by finding split pinon logs at my local hardware store, but I have a fireplace insert which means I would only get to use them when I have an outdoor fire. That's not very often! These incense bricks are the PERFECT solution! I put them in a mini chimenia-type vessel and burn them for a little while. It's so easy to use and I'm so happy to get that smell back! I think the amount of smoke and burn time is on par with what I would expect from any incense brick.

These smell so good just like real pinion wood the only thing I would say is you don’t want to burn them inside your house because they do put off an extreme amount of smoke and will make your house smoky but for the patio they are fantastic

Quick delivery. I like that the bricks are in a resealable plastic bag as opposed to a single-use one. The scent is very pleasant, sweet, warm, and woodsy. The bricks will not work well in an incense burner for cones since they are taller than a cone. They don't burn for a very long time, but the smell lingers on without being too overpowering.

I am in love woth this incense. It's been hard to find a good Piñon incense that's not a resin with to much smoke. These put off just the right amount of smoke and smell fabulous. Taking you right into the forest on a beautiful day. On an occasion one will be difficult to light, and has to be relit a couple times, but once it gets going, its perfect. Even when that occasionally happens, its still worth it because the scent is so phenominal. The only thing keeping this from being 5 stars is the number of pieces that arrived broken/crumbled, thankfully we had a charcoal disk burner and we just put the broken pieces on it.

I can’t fully put into words how much I love this incense. The moment I light it, I’m instantly transported back to my childhood in New Mexico—cold winter nights, fireplaces burning, and that unmistakable piñon scent drifting through the air. The fragrance is rich, natural, and deeply nostalgic. It smells like real piñon wood, not an artificial or perfumed version. That said, it is a strong scent. I personally enjoy burning a whole brick at a time, but anyone sensitive to strong smells may want to start with a smaller portion or be mindful of ventilation. This is absolutely going to be a permanent reorder for me, and I’m excited to try the other incense from this brand as well. If you love authentic Southwestern scents and don’t mind a bold aroma, this one really delivers.

This is exactly what I was looking for. My husband loves the scent when we are outside in our pool deck. Wonderful healing scent. It was perfect. We will be buying more. Price was good. Delivery was fast.

UPDATE 8-29-2026: I reached out to the manufacturer about the new issue of the bricks no longer staying lit. They replied with saying to contact Amazon for a refund. I didn't want a refund, I wanted them to look into the problem! I sent another message going into detail about this problem hoping they would take more interest. I went into more detail than my previous message and their response was simply "Thanks, have a wonderful day". So it obvious they have no interest in looking into the problem. So sad. So I have no choice but to recommend to everyone not to buy their bricks. Why would you buy something from a company that has no interest in addressing a problem with their product? I know I sure wouldn't. Again, it is just so sad to see companies that once had a great product only to have the quality go down once they became popular or well known. I guess it's just the state of things these days. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Sort reviews by "the latest" and you will see what is happening here. They have changed something in the way they make these. These used to be the best wood incense bricks on the market. Now however they are the worst! They no longer stay lit! I mean at all! No matter how long you put these to a flame, they will go out and stop burning within 1-2 minutes. I don't know what the makers of these bricks did, but now instead of being my most recommended incense sticks especially if you love the smell of wood fires, these are now #1 on my list of worst incense bricks I have ever seen. Just look at the picture on my review here. Every single stick you light will look like this. Again, you could hold these to a flame for a full minute and no matter what they will go out shortly after. If the makers of these bricks actually reads this review, please...please go back to what these used to be. You had one of the best products on the market in the natural scent product world. Now you have the worst. Go back to what these used to be! I haven't been this disappointed in a product in a long time. It makes me wonder if this company has started to do what a lot of companies are doing these days. Take a great product and then figure out a way to make it cheaper which ultimately negatively impacts the quality of the product. Then what used to be one of the best products just slowly fades into obscurity eventually disappearing all together. I really hope that doesn't happen here. I hope they turn the ship around and go back to the original "formula" of these bricks. Until they do, you really need to avoid these at all cost. Right now, they are worthless.

Everything I’ve been searching for! Piñon is the smell of a wood burning fireplace. So much comfort in this scent! I ordered the 40 bricks of piñon. Took a few attempts to light the brick and get it to stay smoking. These do not come with a incense burner. I purchased a cute little teepee burner and the bricks fit in it perfectly!! Will definitely be repurchasing this incense again!!
