I grabbed this highlighter out of curiosity because the color shift looked interesting, and I have to admit I wasn’t expecting much given the price point. Wet n Wild used to be one of those classic “cheap drugstore” brands most of us tried years ago when we first started experimenting with makeup. But wow… they have seriously stepped up their game. This formula genuinely surprised me. The texture is described as liquid-to-baked, and that’s actually a pretty accurate way to describe it. It feels smooth and slightly creamy when you touch it, but it applies like a soft powder. On the skin it blends really easily without looking chalky or dusty. The finish is luminous and reflective without turning into a chunky glitter situation, which is something a lot of budget highlighters struggle with. The color shift effect is subtle but really pretty. When the light hits it you can see the shift, which gives it that multidimensional glow that reminds me of much more expensive highlighters and even some high-end shimmer eyeshadows. What really stood out to me is how well this shows up on different skin tones. On deeper complexions especially, the glow looks stunning instead of ashy, which is something that can happen with lighter highlighters. The tone has enough depth and reflect that it pops beautifully on darker skin while still looking smooth and radiant rather than frosty. It’s also buildable, so you can keep it soft for everyday wear or layer it up if you want that full glowing highlight moment. Another thing I like is how versatile it is. It works well as a cheek highlight, but I’ve also used it lightly on the inner corners of the eyes and on the lids for a quick shimmer look. It has that same reflective quality you’d expect from pricier shimmer shadows, which makes it feel like more than just a one-use product. Honestly the biggest shock here is the value. The quality feels way above the price. If you handed this to me without the packaging, I could easily believe it came from a mid-range or higher-end brand. Wet n Wild has quietly been improving their formulas over the years, and this really shows it. They’re not just the “starter drugstore brand” anymore. At this point they’re absolutely competing with brands that cost a lot more. Honestly gasped. Was not expecting the pigmentation with just a small dab with my fan brush. I was very light handed and let me tell you a little bit does a VERY long way. And it has staying power, omg. Like doesn't budge. My expectations were a little low given some mixed reviews based on the color shades. I was expecting more glitter than anything which is why I was so surprised. It has a beautiful finish and you don't see the individual grains. I got the shades 'Solar Ember' and 'Too Sirius'. Solar Ember is stunning and so gorgeous. The dual chrome apricot color reminds me of Haus Labs 'Fire Opal' shade but with a little more punch. This is such a beautiful chrome highlighter so hats off to Wet n' Wild. Now as for the other shade, Too Sirius, I see the issue that a reviewer mentioned for this one specifically. It's mostly just glitter and gets everywhere. It's beautiful in the pan but performs like glitter and that doesn't work for me. Maybe as a topper? I don't like chunky glitter on my face so depends on what you like. Definitely looks like 2 very different formulas were used for these 2 colors.

I am so impressed with this highlighter! It has so much dimension and color and depth- out of all the highlighters I’ve used this is by far the most unique and pretty one. Extremely eye catching and can be applied to make it more subtle or over the top! I purchased to wear during the Renaissance Faire with my costume and I’m so glad it did- it made even subtle makeup look amazing! I’m not one to wear a lot of makeup on normal days so I don’t know if I’d wear it when I wasn’t dressing up but I’d definitely wear it to concerts and other events beyond Ren Faire. It does, of course, have some fall out but way less than I would expect from a cheaper brand like Wet n Wild, and when I used setting spray over it it lasted for hours and hours with virtually no transfer and fall out. I even dusted it over my shoulders and collarbones without setting spray and while it did transfer some to my top (which was fine because it’s Ren Faire and the more glitter the better haha) I was surprised to find that the majority stayed on my skin all day even though I was taking a cloak and shrug off and on. A little goes a LONG way so this will last forever! I really can’t get over how pretty and how high quality this seems. I highly recommend it! UPDATE: Use the L’Oreal Infallible setting spray over this and it stayed ALL DAY on a hot and rainy FL weekend. Super impressive!

This product surprised me! I expected it to be a powder, but it actually has a slippery texture. It's not quite a cream and not quite a putty. It's hard to describe. It's similar to the texture (and color) of Fenty Beauty's Diamond Bomb highlighter in the shade How Many Carats?! It has that smooth, slippery texture with a semi-transparent base and white/silver glitter. I have the Fenty highlighter and I swatched it next to this Kind Hearted highlighter and they're quite similar. I actually can't really describe any differences between them. So if you've been wanting the Fenty one and you like glittery highlighters, Kind Hearted would be a good, affordable alternative, in my opinion. Please just be aware that it is glitter as opposed to shimmer or a metallic shine. For me, the only way to apply it successfully is with a finger. I like putting it on my cheekbones, on top of my blush. It has pretty good longevity and I haven't had any trouble with it fading or rubbing off accidentally. The only negative thing I can say about this product is that it's impossible for me to open without using a tool. I have to use tweezers to pry the lid up. I have weak hands and fingernails and my nail will break trying to open it. For this reason I had to rate it four stars instead of five. Other than this issue, the compact is a pretty sturdy plastic, and the Hello Kitty face on the top is cute. One more thing to note: because of the non-powder composition of this highlighter, I think keeping the compact closed when not in use is a good idea so that it doesn't dry out. I haven't had this happen to me yet with products like this, but better to be safe than sorry. So if you like glitter and unique textures, give this highlighter a try! I hope you like it!

This highlighter is extremely shimmery and full of glitter in the best way. It’s perfect for summer and especially for concerts or festivals IMO a little definitely goes a long way. Also, I’m super pale and it’s hard to find a highlighter that is light enough to work for me (most are darker than me, I look like a ghost don’t judge lol) and this one is PERFECT for my complexion! It gives me the shimmery highlight without any super white cast clown makeup look, highly recommend if you’re Goth or super pale.

Was hesitant about purchasing a drugstore brand, didn’t think the shimmer payoff would be that great or that it would be very blendable. So glad I threw caution to the wind, this highliter is gorgeous! The puck itself is very soft to the touch, and it’s a color shift of pink and lavender. I wanted it as a way to compliment pride makeup with matte sherbet colored eyes, I can’t wait to see how it turns out! The video doesn’t it justice, and I put just a tiny bit on.

Beautiful pop of hot pink color, but too soft for its own good and arrived shattered twice. But when I can manage to put it on it gives the perfect pink shock that’s invisible one second and electric the next. Very glitter forward but can be dusted on or built up.

I really love this highlighter! It reminds me of some higher end ones I've tried (KVD or JSC for example). It goes on very smooth and VERY glittery and shimmery. There's some days I want my highlight to be seen from the moon, and this one does just that.

Im a big fan of marilyn monroe .This product is so lovely gives a highlight blush but in a dewy way i use this everyday and love it i even bought another one for my niece . Would highly reccomend
