It is USB 2.0 instead of 3.2
If you want an outdated usb hub, this is the one for you. The ports in the HUB is 3.2 but the type C cable that connects the hub to the laptop or PC is USB C 2.0 which was nowhere mentioned. Waste of money and time.

It works with simple devices like USB headset or mouse or keyboard, but cannot support external SSD which requires 850mA of current: when I plug SSD into this hub, hub disappears from connected devices and stop resposne. Return.

Acheté pour connecter mon imprimante, qui dispose d’un port USB à l’ancienne, à mon Mac Mini 4. Tout fonctionne correctement. J’ai également connecté un disque de sauvegarde externe, il est monté sans difficulté sur le bureau.
