Years ago, as a college job I groomed dogs at one of the national pet stores, but for many years now I've only done my own small dog and a few friend's dogs. My old pro clippers are barely limping along but I really didn't want to drop $$$ to replace them, plus I wanted something that was smaller anyway for easier use on my tiny fluffy guy. I figured for the price of these might as well try... and I LOVE them! The built in light is genius... so nice for doing paw pads. The different size blade heads are so great for the face and pads. The nail grinder attachment is the only thing I'm not impressed with and won't use, it's not nearly as powerful as my dremel but that's to be expected. Pleasantly surprised that the plastic guard combs work about as well as the nicer metal ones for my old clippers. Tips for home grooming and 'response' to some complaints in other reviews - 1) Your dog must be FRESHLY washed and then FULLY dried for the best looking cut and the life of your clippers - dirt and/or wet hair will dull any blade extremely quickly and give an uneven cut. Give them a bath the day before you plan to groom if you don't have a pet dryer (no hot air!) or time to wait for them to be *completely* dry. 2) Your dog must be fully brushed with a fine/medium tooth comb to use guard combs. A slicker brush is not enough, it won't fully untangle all the way to the skin - it must be combed. They won't work or it'll look like a jagged mess if you try to use them on a tangled or matted coat. This is true of any quality of clipper. If your dog is matted, you'll need to have them shaved down and grow their coat out - with regular brushing to prevent matting again! (I recommend taking them to an actual groomer for this if you can't get the smallest guard comb through their hair and you don't have other clippers with a #9 or #10 blade - the blade on these is equivalent to like a #30 and that is very, VERY short, your dog will look bald and be prone to sunburn.) 3) You have to shake it out every couple of passes when using the combs and turn them off to fully brush off the blade every couple of minutes. Again, this is true for any quality of clipper when using combs. Keep the clippers on and just give it a quick flick of the wrist to shake out every other pass. You should be doing long passes, almost from head to tail, so it shouldn't take too many shakes or brush outs to do your whole dog. 4) Shave with the grain of the hair - towards the tail over the back area, down the side/belly angled toward tail, and straight down legs. Going against the grain causes a shorter cut. 5) After every use clean completely with the little brush provided and oil the blade.

Im so happy I bought this grooming kit. It has saved me so much money. This set is so easy to use and give professional results when I need to do it at home myself. Its a little loud but it doesn't bother my miniature poodle at all. It has many attachments, like the smaller one rest gets the hair in between her paw pads. Its cordless and after charging it, the charge lasts pretty long.

This clipper performs exceptionally well when grooming my dog's hair. My 15-pound Yorkie had rather long hair, approximately five inches in length, and the trimmer did an excellent job of cutting through it. The only thing I found not to work with my dog was the nail filler. It did nothing to my dog's thick nails.

I’ll start with what i dislike about these because that’s the quick part of this review. There is absolutely nothing that I dislike! Even if I wanted to Nitpick, I can’t come up with anything after first use. Nothing! Nada! Zip! Zero! Before I go further, I want to explain my needs & previous purchases, experiences, etc. I have a standard poodle & a miniature poodle. I live in the country & though they are limited to approximately an 1 acre radius, it’s not a neatly groomed, weed free lawn you see in residential areas., we live out in the middle of dirt roads& red mud. The lawn is mowed but full of various weeds, stick-tights, sand burrs. These last two LOVE poodle fur! The attached video shows my standard poodle, Ollie. His last haircut was back in October & he was shaved. We’ve had below zero temperatures this winter & just now warming up during the day. So his hair is matted, has some stickers. I have some name brand😉 purple😉 dog clippers that I paid $90 for, in addition I also purchased additional blades & their brand, spray that clean/lubricant/sanitize/cool blades, so I have over $150 invested. And they didn’t cut through his coat even half as good as these… & that’s not an exaggeration! The ONEISALL 4 in 1 (Model: FC10) cut through Ollie’s matted hair like a knife through butter! In all honesty , I never expected that from a $40 set of clippers. I did, expect that from the name brand, highly rated Purple 😉 One that I paid $90 for though. I’m absolutely THRILLED with my $40 ONEISALL clippers, they far exceeded my expectations! My Ollie Boy, doesn’t realize how much he loves them yet. He’s not fond of getting groomed, but what he doesn’t know is that the ONEISALL clippers are cutting groom time by over half. I always dread grooming Ollie & his sister because it kills my back & neck. So shortening the time helps me physically. I have not used the Little Trimmer Blade Head or Pet Pad Trimmer Blade Head but will try to remember to come back & do that. I expect them to be great though. Light Function: I didn’t realize this had this! Genius idea! All clippers should! Lighting is one problem I encounter on the belly & inside of legs. The noise level, to me, seemed about average. It’s not so much the noise that bother my poodles, rather certain places they don’t like being done. Feet are a major ordeal for them both. Weight: They are not heavy nor did my hand get tired while grooming. Conclusion: These are excellent, amazing & a steal at $40! I’ve only used them once & I did purchase extended warranty for a few $ more. If I experience major issues in the future that should be noted, I will update my review. I ALWAYS look at reviews & sometimes don’t trust the ones here because I know for a fact, some sellers are offered Amazon gift cards for positive reviews. This isn’t one of those. I believe in giving credit where credit is due. If an item (or seller) deserves a critical review, they get that too. I seldom take as much time as I did here writing a review. But I know I spent a lot of time, frustration & money trying to find an option that would cut my poodles coats with ease & not cost me a fortune. I found it, FINALLY, with this purchase! I hope this helps others who seek the same.

We use these on our Cockapoos and they are wonderful!!! Easy to use and the blades really do great work. We were really surprised because of the low price. Pretty quiet when operating and the different speeds are great. Love this product.

This was easy to use and not loud. My dog was quite comfortable and seem unbothered by the soft hum. It trims very clean and precise. I would definitely recommend.

I bought them for my standard poodles. I have bought expensive name brands that didnt work with their feet and was made for that. These clippers do a great job and quiet as well

Everything is perfect

We have a rather large cat, who needs “sanitary trims”. This trimmer works perfectly, has good power and charges quickly. My only mistake was starting with the small, I’m guessing paw pad trimming attachment. I should have started with the size up trimming attachment, as the small one clogged with the thicker fur. The smaller attachment is perfect for trimming paw fur between toe beans. As an owner of two cats, I haven’t tried the nail grinder yet. I’ll eventually give it a go, but the clipper was what I purchased this set for.
