Spedal CL871 6.25" Motorcycle CarPlay Screen

This has been a game changer!!! I daily ride, and enjoy having my music/navi/phone accessible without having my phone subject to the elements. It is very well built, I love the aluminum mount! Super easy to install as long as you have slight knowledge on your bikes wiring (check YouTube if you need!) the screen has never not been bright enough! And the screen size seems to be perfect! Just a tad smaller than my phone. It’s super easy to change the boot logo too!! This was bought right before a 2,000 mile round trip. IT HAD NOT A SINGLE ISSUE the entire time! It’s been left out in the 100 degree days in the beating sun. Down to the teens while riding at night! It’s even gotten soaked in a few heavy rain showers! Best one I found at this price with the research I did, and will be buying another one for the next bike!

You would think cuz this is cheap that the screen is no good but this thing is amazing. I have yet to have any issues with it and I wrote in the pouring down rain. It automatically connects and the touch sensitivity is through my gloves. It also feels durable

Works like it should. I don't know about durability yet but good enough for now. The universal mounting is good but not as tidy as I would like. Two things: 1) the firmware update is bad, but it won't let you update it due to the error so I guess it doesn't hurt. 2) I would really like to have the toms sensors display with the Android auto screen. I don't know if it alarms when not at the device home screen. But abily to see the air pressure would be good for us adventure guys who go off road and risk flats often. For those like me that go into the Backcountry a lot, remember to download the Google maps for offline maps. Otherwise it is kind of pointless to have gps maps.

Mounted on a 2025 Multistrada V4S using Xitomer GPS mount. The four holes all line up using 3mm bolts. Ordered a set in black in assorted sizes. This way I didn't have to mount it to the handlebars. It sits right up above my OEM display tucked in behind the windscreen. I also ordered a 5A USB pigtail to wire it up directly to my USB outlet (would be nice if they would have included one). Turns on and off with the bike and didn't have to run a bunch of wires. I simply attached the red and yellow wires together to the red wire on the pigtail and then the unit's ground wire to the pigtail's black (ground) wire. The unit fired right up when I turned the bike on. Connected easily to my iPhone and I was in business. Went through four of these units before I finally found one that I could mount the way I wanted. Amazon could alleviate a lot of returns if they would simply instruct their sellers to include a clear picture of the back of the unit. I was hoping the holes would line up on the Xitomer Garmin style four hole mount and they did. Will update this review as needed.

Doesn't work. Connectivity issues. Installing and pairing with my phone was a breeze. And then I went for a ride. It kept repeatedly connecting and disconnecting and then gave up entirely. Is it too much to ask that an item sold should meet QA standards and work correctly? I don't mind paying a fair price for a good quality product that works well and lasts long. Would not recommend.

This exceeded my expectations, especially for the price! The screen is bright enough to see in the sun while wearing sunglasses. The UI is speedy when touching the screen. The connection is seamless to my phone - I get on my bike, start it up, and within 10 seconds it's booted and connected with my phone in my pocket the whole time. I'm using Android Auto with a Pixel 9 Pro. I bought this instead of a phone mount because I didn't want to risk ruining the camera stabilization in my phone.

Got this and was a little intimidated by the installation process but after reviewing my circuit diagram setup was easy. I love the functionality of this device. it's an addition I should have added when I first got my bike. love the quad lock but exposing my phone to rain and such was always a bother. this being water resistant, I'm looking forward to seeing how it holds up. mounting is firm and love the metal bracket its mounted on makes it feel sturdy. I recommend this product! i like the look of it.

It's getting better, but still has issues after the December2025 firmware update. Connectivity once connected seems to be more stable, but I need a greater sample size to confirm for sure. Connecting is still an issue. if there are too many bluetooth or wifi devices it seems like the handover just doesn't work, or it drops the Spedal unit as the active bluetooth device too quickly and the handover to wifi doesn't work. The unit makes two wifi SSIDs, i assume 2.4 and 5.0 GHz, but there is no way to tell for sure which is which and if there was a way to connect manually at least we could bypass the bluetooth handoff, but that's not possible. Additionally, after too many connects and disconnects in a short period it seems to no longer broadcast the bluetooth SSID as a discoverable name, so if you forget it in your phone you can never reconnect until you factory reset the unit- The same issue as my previous review. Which isn't really a factory reset. your custom boot logo still boots. So what does this reset do? If you've got a lot of bluetooth devices to connect to, this may not work for you. I'd love to buy the TPMS sensors for this unit as well, but they're not for sale on amazon. Original- 1Star review I like Carred20 have constant connection issues. I use a Thunderbox to trigger the power to this unit. Therefore the unit is the last Bluetooth device to power on on my bike. I used a Pixel 7 pro and a Pixel 10 fold to test this unit with (I actually got a replacement sent because the first had connection issues) I have a Comms Unit connected to my Bike's TFT, and thus I power on my bike, Comms unit connects to the bike, bike connects to phone, then Spedal screen powers on and connects to my phone. I have isolated the power sequence so I power the Spedal screen on before anything else (with an independent battery.) It doesn't seem to matter. old firmware, new firmware. old MCU, new MCU. DOESNT MATTER. I have to factory reset it in order to connect because it will only launch android auto properly on the first Bluetooth connect ever. the first unit did this, and the replacement sent to me did this. rebooting the unit via software restart does not work. I've put a lot of work into trying to make this work. it just isn't consistent at all. First world problems but honestly I don't recommend.

Artikel wie beschrieben. Verbindet sich sehr schnell mir CarPlay. Display sehr gut lesbar, auch bei direkter Sonneneinstrahlung. Die Halterung ist wertig und sitzt bombenfest. Bis jetzt auch keine Probleme bei starkem Regen, das Display ist bei mir fest verbaut. Im Vergleich zu den wesentlich teureren Geräten in den Motorradstores steht das Gerät denen nichts nach.

I've lost or damaged phones before by mounting them on the bars and to have a CarPlay system that works seamlessly with my Helmet Bluetooth and mic is so much easier, not to mention the touchscreen works with standard leather gloves! No more pulling over to check my phone or reply to text messages makes life easy. An added bonus is the included TPMS sensors. The whole setup was easy, ground and power to the battery and tap the accessory wire into ignition hot. Pairing was straightforward, even for the TPMS, and changing the boot logo was fairly straightforward with the help of another review - with that being said, the instructions are kinda lacking but if you know your way around a smart phone,, it's pretty much a no brainer. If you are thinking of pulling the trigger, this is one solid little unit!

Fantastische CarPlay navigatie. Goede responsieve touchscreen perfect te bedienen met handschoenen, een mooi scherp en heel helder display ( is ook niet vanzelfsprekend bij vele Ali navigatieszelfs in volle zon (dat zie je niet vaak en ik heb er meerde getest), koppelt snel en reageert ook snel. Al met al super tevreden over de Spedal. Ik geef alleen 4 sterren en geen 5 sterren omdat de navigatie vast gemonteerd wordt op de motor en omdat het geen accu heeft.
