I bought one of these and am still struggling to connect to it’s Wi-Fi signal. Any suggestions?

Did it not come with a User Manual, that should tell you what to do, regarding the problem you are having with Wi-Fi signal. Sorry I could not be more specific.

How do you open the side compartment, if you what's the small one on the other side for and how to open that also

There are two holes opposite each other in the handle. You push in to the smallest hole and this forces out the two screwdriver bits from the hole on the other side of the handle. Hope this helps.

Would this be useful for scraping gloss paint off stair spindles once heated with a heat gun? Thank you

I used this to remove paint from staircase spindles although I used paint stripper as opposed to a heat gun.

Does the blade go all the way through the handle to the hammer end or is the end just stuck to the plastic handle?

The phrase "full tang" means (in knives and sword world's) as the shaft of the "blade" goes all the way through to the end of the handle. Half tang is where they insert it part way imto the handle. I'm buying one to take apart and will let you know for 100%, but if it doesn't it's not as advertised and will be returned as such.
