Easy to apply
Great for finishing my wooden carvings. I apply liberally with a paint brush, allow to soak for a few minutes, then remove with a rag and a fine, clean shoe brush. Gives the piece a lovely colour and shine.

Good product
I applied two layers on chopping boards and table. Takes over 24 hours for each coat to soak in completely, very slight earthy smell - but nothing unpleasant. To be safe, I gave 3 days for each item to be completely dry and usable

Fantastic product
Beautiful oil, dries quickly and seals the wood brilliantly. I was an especially pleased at how good the wood feels after treatment, not greasy or oily, just a lovely smooth finish. I have used this on pine, holly and oak, worked wonderfully on all three. A great purchase, would recommend without hesitation.

The best of three products tested
I tested three products as follows Parr's Danish Oil 500ml (£13.99) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B007BD5Y3M?psc=1 Nordicare Danish Oil 500ml (£13.15) https://www.amazon.co.uk/Danish-Oil-Wood-Nordicare-Underlines/dp/B09KC69J7C Furniture Clinic Danish Oil 500ml (£13.95) https://www.amazon.co.uk/Danish-Interior-Exterior-Wooden-Furniture/dp/B00CECZ0OS (Prices listed at time of writing) I tested all 3 on the same piece of steamed beech which I sanded to 320 grit using an orbital sander. I followed then followed the specific instructions for each product to apply 3 coats. Overall I found this product to be the best of the three - it is quite viscous and is satisfying to apply as it is easy and quick to ensure all areas are coated. Start by pouring a small amount for your first use and gauge how much you need to use for future projects to avoid wastage as the thickness means it pours out a lot quickly in one go. To the naked eye this oil definitely provides the most consistent coating - evident even after the first coat. A third coat may not even have been necessary. The process for this product needs 15 minutes at least before wiping off and takes 8 hours to dry. In comparison Nordicare oil must be left an hour before being wiped off and 9-12 hours for drying and the Furniture Clinic's oil should be wiped off after 3 minutes and takes 6 hours to dry. The product isn't very odorous when applying and leaves the wood with a nice natural scent when dry.

Danish oil
This oil was amazing ! I have some oak top furniture and it had faded a lot , this oil has brought it back to life. I have pets and was worried about getting restorers as I thought they would smell this oil had no harmful odours. Really pleased and would definable purchase again.

Oil is ok - but very thick
The oil works well - but is very thick compared to normal Danish Oil (Called "Linolie" in Denmark ) When it is so thick you might not have to do as many coverings but you run a higher risk of leaving stroke / cloth marks. How it works over time - don't know yet.

Table resurfacing
Bought this to help overcome a problem I had with my wooden tables surface. The table top was sticky (varnish had become contaminated with some chemical from a plastic cover we used) and during the summer cups plates, anything placed onto it began to stick. So, we had to rub the whole thing down and use this instead. Appying it is very easy just dab it on spongeuntil it's fully covered. It did the job and it still looks good 4 months on. I'll give it another couple of coats with this again in a few weeks time just to keep it looking good. It only takes a few minutes to put it on and I usually leave it overnight to soak in. The bottle is still quite full and should last for many other jobs as well.

Excellent produit !
