Works well with large hands
We used this to replace a large clock mechanism that had stopped working. I was able to reuse the original hands, but this new mechanism is working great.

Perfect replacement
This was a perfect replacement for an old clock I had. Very easy to replace. Measure the shaft length before ordering. I didn't use the clock hands that came with it. Keeps perfect time.

Super easy fix for a broken clock
Perfect replacement. My wife has a huge windmill clock she loves, but it stopped working (it was actually still correct twice a day 😳🙄). She was talking about throwing it away and replacing it with another expensive one when I just happened to look on Amazon to see if they make replacement movements, and holy cow, do they ever. Fortunately I found one with the appropriate length arms (extra long), which were even more ornate and look nicer than the originals, and the rest is history. These things are inexpensive, simple to replace and quartz accurate.

Tick tock
The mechanism worked well to replace in a clock I didnt want to donate however the hands are VERY long! Too big for the clock face and the mechanisms connector wasnt the same as the hands that were already with the clock. So check sizes if replacing and not rebuilding.

Happy with purchase
This kit fits my clock perfectly. It was easy to install and didn’t take to much time. It keeps time accurate.

Makes a great reactive target
The short version: The spindle or shaft that carries the hands was entirely made of plastic, was the wrong shape for the hole in the minute hand, and had no threads to accommodate the nut that is supposed to hold the hands in place. It was entirely unusable. The long version: After discovering the very small and well obscured “Made in China” disclaimer, I knew in a heartbeat what the clock mechanism was good for. Now, before I get on with my story I’d like to note that there is a significant difference between Chinese made products and products “Made in China”. For example, I have several very high quality, functional and versatile flashlights made by a Chinese owned company, employing Chinese workers in a Chinese manufacturing facility in China. In other words, there is a Chinese entrepreneur that has skin in the game making sure his or her products are top shelf. That’s an example of Chinese made. The clock mechanism was “Made in China”. To get on with my story, I decided to give the clock mechanism one last chance to prove itself worth at least something, so I subjected it to the .45 ACP test as delivered by a 1911 Government, full frame semiautomatic. Not wanting to drive the 35 miles to the shooting range, I spent the time and effort to construct a small backstop of tamped earth and plywood that was about 18 inches thick, which I placed against the concrete foundation wall of my garage. To this I mounted the clock mechanism with museum wax. I did not try and affix the hands as I thought they could potentially become a high velocity hazard zipping through the air. Anyway, I paced off 21 feet, loaded a 185 grain jacketed hollow point into battery, took aim, and fired. The results were glorious. I found nothing of the clock mechanism except a few tiny shards of plastic. Not quite vaporized, but close. - And then reality set in as I realized I had just broken several town ordinances concerning discharging a firearm within city limits and projectiles and noise and Lord knows what else. I went back inside the house to await the inevitable patrol car pulling into my driveway. Five minutes elapsed. Then 10, 20, 45… After an hour and 15 minutes I realized no patrol car was coming. No one had reported a deranged lunatic shooting a gun in his back yard. Though happy to not have to explain my actions to a law enforcement officer and perhaps appear in the Police Reports section of the Thursday edition of the local newspaper, I am nonetheless considering moving to a safer neighborhood.

Same garbage. Not "high torque".
No difference than all of the other ones not listed as "high torque". Same numbers printed on the others. Simply a lie. Not strong enough to lift the long arms that come with it. Clock lost 6 hours in the last 24. Trash, don't waste your money.

Tis a bit loud
Price is good. Hands can be bent easily, so handle with care. It definitely keeps good time, but its not quiet. Need a quick inexpensive fix, this is what you need. Its not obnoxiously loud, but once you notice the sound..you cant ignore it. Will be looking for one that is quieter though
