High Quality at an Affordable Price
I work for a custom painting and restoration shop and have been there for about 10 years. I paint some on the side and have been doing so since I was a young teenager. I have always used cheap spray guns on the side and when I go to work, I use Iwata spray guns. There is no doubt Iwata guns spray nice in my opinion. Lay a nice pattern and spread metallics and pearls evenly. Here was my issue...a buddy of mine asked me to spray his truck, the colors of choice, silver and tuxedo black(a lot of pearls and mettallics). Because of this, I didn't want to use a cheap, $50 spray gun. I started looking for some decent guns and came across this Sharpe. The reviews I read were excellent and the gun has a similar design shape to the Iwata guns so I decided to pull the trigger. (No pun intended) Upon arrival, I went over it, love the shape, love the feel, and really love the performance. This spray gun is far cheaper than that of an Iwata but in my opinion, sprayed just as nice. The pearls and metallics went on evenly and I have no complaints. This is a fantastic gun, not too expensive but works like a high end spray gun. The only issue I had was I accidentally ordered the wrong size tip. That was my fault but it still worked great. Fantastic product.

Very good HVLP spray gun!
This gun works very well and is great for the price. The spray quality is also really good! This is a great gun for beginners. The quality of the gun is decent I've used a Sata before so I cant say its the best engineered gun ever but it has been engineered well. This gun is also very easy to clean once you get the fluid nozzle to come off, I don't recommend using all your strength on the fluid nozzle with the supplied tool it hurts, I had to use a 19 mm socket on a 1/2 inch drive ratchet to break it free make sure you squeeze trigger while you use the ratchet and socket so you don't damage the needle...This was the only con I had with this gun. I hope this helps future buyers. As a side note the Amazon support team was great and helped me with any issue I had also the Graco-Sharpe support was very helpful in helping me solve the nozzle sticking issue without damaging the gun.

Nice gun!
I bought the FX3000 to paint a motorcycle and a car. I was trying to make out as cheaply as possible and bought a 3 gun set from TCP Global (the same guns are sold by many retailers < $100.00). I got what I paid for. I had used the cheap guns to put the base coat on the motorcycle. I had also shot a couple of coats of clear to separate colors on the paint job. Could NOT get it to look good. Decided I HAD to get something else and an experienced painter suggested the FX 3000. The 3000 was EASY to set up, 29psi at the gun, a few twists of the fan and material knobs and the test pattern looked great. The FX3000 laid the clear down like glass! The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is I've never painted with a top of the line Sata, Iwata or DeVilbiss ?sp? gun. So I couldn't compare it to guns of that caliber. BUT! I am 5 star happy with it.

Accidentally Became a Professional Auto Painter, Send Help (or More Cars)
I bought the Graco SHARPE Finex spray gun thinking, โMaybe Iโll touch up that one little scratch on my bumper.โ Three hours later, Iโm in the driveway painting flames on my lawnmower, wearing safety goggles and calling myself โThe Atomizer.โ Let me tell you: this thing is no toy. It sprays with such precision and consistency that I began to question whether I had been chosen by the Spray Gun Gods. It doesnโt spit, it doesnโt sputter, and it sure as heck doesnโt care that I have no formal training. It just delivers smooth, even coats like a buttery angel with a mist fetish. The HVLP technology is wild. I used less paint than I expected and still ended up with a finish so smooth and professional-looking that a neighbor stopped to ask if I opened a body shop. I said yes. I was kidding. He brought me his minivan. I painted it tiger stripes. We donโt speak anymore. Also โ and I canโt stress this enough โ this spray gun made me dangerously confident. I painted a skateboard. I painted a mailbox. I painted a ceramic garden gnome that now looks like it escaped from Fast & Furious 17. Even the dog started sleeping with one eye open. Thereโs zero overspray, minimal cleanup, and a level of durability that makes it feel like it was forged in a volcano by retired NASCAR pit crew members. It's light enough to use all day and accurate enough that I started noticing tiny imperfections in the factory paint job on my car. Rude, Graco. Rude. In conclusion: If you want to paint like a pro, waste less material, and accidentally start a side hustle out of your garage, this is your new best friend. Buy it. Just... warn your pets first.

The Finex 3000 is not an automotive finishing gun
After attempting to use this gun many times, I can confidently say itโs no better, amd possibly worse, than a $20 disposable gun. Iโve used many types over the years, and this ranks at the bottom of the list. Even the cheap guns donโt require a flimsy plastic โair distributorโ inside the cap, but the Finex does. At best it sprays only a 5โ wide fan. Iโve had better results with $20 generic guns, but I didnt bother cleaning the last one, when the Finex arrived, so Iโm now waiting for an Iwata to show up. Save your money. Buy a better gun. You'll be glad you did.

Great gun great price
Amazing gun used it as my base coat gun and im very pleased with thw results very light weight great automization precise adjustments for the air and fluid easy to clean and disassemble and my favorite part is how great it looks with the chrome finish highly recommend alot of people think you need a iwata or some of the top line guns that are ridiculously priced you can get the same results with a lower priced gun if you know how to properly adjust and use the gun

A good gun that could have been made better
Overall, this is a pretty good gun for the money. The controls are very usable. The gun is very easy to break down for cleaning. The gun lays primers, base coats, and clear coats on very well. Assuming you've got the gun set up properly, you won't have any problem laying out metalic or pearl finishes. The manufacturer, did however, did cut one corner which is preventing me from rating higher. They include a black plastic cup lid. After a couple of times of occasional use, substances like acetone, automotive paint reducers, and other cleaners cause the lid to shrink and fit poorly. It doesn't keep a seal well and risks falling off during jobs. The replacement cups are about $7-$8 bucks a piece and do take some research to find. It is really quite short-sighted and stupid that they did this. Cheaper, lower quality DeVilbiss Finish Line paint guns provide this. Graco-Sharp would have been better providing the customer with an aluminum screw cap for the cup, or just including a non-shrinking plastic paint cup with a screw cap. I would have gladly paid an extra $10 for a better cap system.

FX3000 - Big Boy Color Crayon
Pros - * adjustable spray pattern up to 12.5" * available in nozzle sizes 1.0, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5 and 1.8mm * low cfm required - 9.5cfm @ 90psi * lightweight - 1 lb with 20 oz cup Cons - No storage case No regulator Available Tip/Nozzle size applications * 1.0 mm: hobby, spot repair, base coat, clear coat * 1.3 mm: Base coat, high solid, single stage paint, clear coat * 1.4 mm: Base coat, clear coat mixed with single stage paint, sealers, low solid clear, clear coat * 1.5 mm: Base coat, sealers, enamels, medium to high viscosity, clear coat * 1.8 mm: Primer I purchased the FX3000 with the 1.4mm tip and it sprays base, base and clear mixed and clear coats flawlessly. For spraying primers, I thin primer by adding more reducer. The gun requires 9.5 cfm at 40psi. I have used the FX3000 with my Ridgid 9 gallon wheelbarrow compressor that puts out 10.6 cfm @ 90 psi, it works great except for when spraying large panels, the compressor has to run continuously under load to maintain pressure . Initially, I was concerned with the cfm requirement of the FX3000 and performance of the the spray gun but the end results were amazing. No matter what media I sprayed thru the gun, it laid down like glass. I like that the gun has a pressure adjusting knob located at the bottom of the handle which allows user to use a cheap airflow metering gauge should a true regulator not be in the user's budget This really is an amazing gun for the price, interestingly the price is still the pretty much the same as when the gun first came out in 2011... guess that is an indicator of a great product as it still maintains original value. I purchased the FX3000 as an used item at a greatly discounted price from seller " Fashion Place " with a no questions asked return option past the normal 30 day return policy I'll be purchasing the 3M PPS to accompany my FX3000. Very pleased with this purchase

Good for beginner
I have only comparison for really cheap one spray gun. That one is amazing better, allow to make perfect finish with varnish coats on wood when I do not have so much experience. Big cup for paint does the job.
