I got this Poke Root & Castor Oil Salve because I prefer simple, traditional herbal products, and this one did not disappoint. The texture is rich but not greasy, and it melts easily into the skin, a little goes a long way. I’ve been using it externally on areas that feel tight or overworked, and it’s been very soothing. I also have a cyst on my leg and I am trying it out on. It absorbs well without leaving a heavy residue, which I really appreciate. The ingredient list is clean and straightforward. I appreciate that it has no fillers, no synthetic scents, and you can tell it’s made well. I also like the sturdy steel tin (not aluminum). I got this based off another review that said they got this for their dog. My chihuahua has a quarter size bump under his skin on his back. After 3 applications this seems like its doing something for it. It seems to be possibly drawing it out as there is a small scabbing point where I am applying it and the bump is getting smaller. I know this is not being sold as a pet product so I don't know how this review fits in. I just wanted to chime in and say what I was using it for and for my dog, if this continues working, I would have paid any amount for this.
