The description did not include the length of the cable but based on previous reviews I bought it. The cable is longer than the original and will be useful when traveling with limited outlets. Tried it charging from a transformer and USB outlet with no problems. Accessing the installed SD card also worked just fine so no issues and 5 stars.

My puppy chewed up my old cord, so I needed a new one. This works fine.

Overall rating is less than zero. The USB end is perfect, of course that is a no brainer. The part of this cord that connects to the camera DOES NOT FIT, as in not even close. I ordered this using the model and all the information for this specific camera. Unfortunately, I trusted it was the correct part and the return window closed before I tried to connect the camera to my computer using this cord. The part of the cord to the camera was NOT EVEN CLOSE. Not the same size, not close. WASTE OF MONEY. Don't buy.

My original Panasonic camera cord has been falling apart at the connectors for a while. I ordered this cord as a replacement, not knowing how much thicker it is--but it really makes all of the difference. The original Panasonic cords are so narrow that they easily start to fray at the connection spots. This cord is about twice as thick, so it handles being wound up for storage must better than the actual original manufacturer's.
