How does the liner pocket and rim system work?

The liner pocket holds a refill pack of Simplehuman custom fit liners. To change the liner, lift the liner rim, pull a fresh liner from the pocket and attach around the compartment. Then close the rim to secure the liner in place.

Yes! Our compost caddy is fully compatible with all of the rectangular step cans on this page. It conveniently docks on the side using a magnetic system that securely attaches while also holding the lid open for easy scraping and food prep.

Is the odorsorb pod compatible with this model?

Yes, each of these cans comes with the odorsorb pod holder and a trial pod. The pod fits discreetly under the lid and uses a microporous membrane to continuously release natural plant oils that neutralize trash odors.
