Excellent Non Adhesive Dressing
I thought I ordered 2” x 3” telfa not this size. Even cut down they are too big for the area I need. When I used paper tape with this it kept falling off my face. There was a question how was the adhesion. First the Entire Purpose of using a Telfa pad is that it will not adhere to the wound you are covering. Originally these were only used in hospitals. I know as an R.N. Now you can buy them to dress your wounds at home. You can place any antibiotic ointment on the pad or on your wound. Do Not Touch The Nozzle of the Antibiotic directly on the wound Ever, because you can pick up bacteria from the wound & carry it to the next item you touch the tip. The nice thing about Telfa(non adhesive) Pads are that they provide solid coverage but do not stick to any drainage from your wound. The point of any Telfa pad is that it will not be adhesive to your wound but it willl absorb drainage. They are expensive but great for covering any wound that you want to heal. This one does not have adhesive property like a bandaid. You will need tape( paper, or adhesive) to cover this. Telfa does make bandages with adhesive that will stick like a bandaid but you should have the exact size & they cost a lot more.

Amazing perfect for bandaging
Really great and easy to make ad hoc, versatile, and variously sized bandages (with paper tape)

Doesn’t stick but does much more
Tefla pads are awesome. Their claim to fame is they don’t stick to the wound. Sixty (60) years ago I used them to dress a third degree burn that took a full year to heal. It’s hard to believe they are still around. Now I’m using them for scratches and scrapes on my arms that is typical of thin skin that comes with advanced years. I also coat the damaged skin with a light application of petroleum jelly. If the skin is broken, I use “active skin repair” instead. Both these products are used for surgery. Since Tefla pads have no adhesive, I buy the 4x8” size, cut the pads to fit, and use lightweight surgical tape. You’ll find other ways to use them. It’s amazing how superior this method is to trying to find the right bandage size! Another tip is to wear athletic arm sleeves to hold the bandages in place, without tape. The petroleum jelly or skin repair keeps them in place under the elastic sleeve, eliminating sensitivity to tape adhesive, hiding the bandage, and protecting your arms from UV exposure. If you’re just using tape, you can avoid the ouch by coating it with petroleum jelly and waiting about an hour to pull it off. When showering, you can keep any bandage dry by wrapping the arm/leg/foot with clear plastic wrap. I use a small roll of packaging plastic and just tear it off - quick, easy, and waterproof. Tefla makes all this possible with an excellent and affordable product.

Amazing value to buy a box here versus a pack of three at some corner drug store. Good value for money!

Great for protecting long incisions
After my abdominal hysterectomy, my incision began to heal very quickly. After a few days, there were no fluids at the site, and I really just needed something long enough to cover it so that my clothing wouldn’t rub and irritate. These turned out to be the perfect length and width - exactly the size of the hydrocolloid dressing the surgeon applied. Fabric glides right over the surface. I use wide gentle paper surgical tape to secure the top and bottom edges, leaving the sides open to allow the skin underneath to breathe.

Great product
My surgeon’s office kept using and recommending telfa for me post op. We ran out of what they gave me and I was so glad to find this available on Amazon. It wasn’t easy to find in a drug store. I love that there is a non-stick bandage option like this!!

Economic and get the job done
Been using these four over five months with leg sores they work very well for what I need them for wish they were a little bigger would be really nice but putting them together isn't that hard either so they've absorbed ok they're not all that thick but they do a pretty good job and they do not stick which is what is really good I would recommend them. They're all so pretty good value considering you get 50 of them for you know $8 to $10 and when you're constantly changing bandages that's a pretty good price they were shipped on time had no issues with what we got or with the order we'll reorder again.
