Excellent whoop. I am new to the fpv scene with my only experience being sim racing (Liftoff) and roughly 10 or so hours with actual drones. My first was the meteor 75 pro and the air 65 is my second. Both are amazing. The air 65 is shockingly durable. I fly mostly indoors and it has tanked dozens of wall hits, tumbles down stairs, and even crashes in the hands of people brand new to the hobby (full throttle straight into the ceiling). That being said, take your time to learn how to fly and it will treat you well. The whoop is completely bind and fly requiring no setup at all. I've flown it with ev800d and hdzero goggles and a radiomaster pocket radio with no issues whatsoever. I personally use Betafpv lava 1s 300mah batteries and can fly for about 4-5 minutes with conservative throttle. The batteries can be charged with the adapter that came with the meteor 75. For those wanting to fly indoors, I do not recommend learning with the stock tune. I researched how to adjust PID tuning in Betaflight for proper indoor flying and that made it incredibly controllable while also maintaining the ability to fly outside and perform some impressive tricks considering it's size. At 25mW, I can fly through the whole house across 3 floors with minimal breakup in the video feed. For anyone wanting to get into the hobby this is an excellent starting point that won't hurt your wallet too badly.

The camera is AMAZING and it is such a good first fpv drone BUT IT DOES NOT COME WITH BATTERIES

I've been building and flying quads for almost 20 years and I had the original Air65 and it was fun, but this thing, wow! The brushless motors and the even lighter weight, it's so responsive and agile. And it's safe to fly indoors, so perfect for winter. Love it. If you are new to quadcopters please note you will need to purchase a radio controller that supports ELRS, and some way to see the analog video, either glasses or a little 5.8ghz analog video monitor. And batteries. None of that is included here.

DO NOT PURCHASE. I bought two. The first had a missing vtx antenna and a bad motor, i sent back for a replacement. The second had the vtx antenna missing, an old flight board from happy model, and most screws and grommets missing. If it happened once I might not worry too much, but I got two messed up whoops in a row. I requested a refund.

First impressions weren't great. First glance I found the box it arrived in looked like it had been stepped on. Initial inspections when installing the first battery, the battery cage looked lopsided and the camera Cage mangled. But beyond that I tried to bind it and fly it reguardless, who knows maybe it is just packaging. After many failed attempts at binding to the controler that is the same brand, it finally bound to the controller. On first flight after calibrating the drone it spent most of the hover time bouncing. On the first landing, the camera lense popped off of the drone. After many more binding attempts the drone became unresponsive and not going into sync mode at all. I then attempted to bind with bind phrase and that didn't help at all. I hope the replacement I receive is less mangled by shipping and operates better than the first one did.

This drone is an indestructible little beast. My favorite drone to fly and I've got a few!

The first one I bought came defective. I sent it back and received a new one, which works. As for the performance, this thing is phenomenal. I am extremely experienced in the hobby and this is easily the best BNF I have ever flown. If you want the best out of the box whoop ever made, this is the one, no brainer.
