Review: Just what I needed - Really good Review: Protect your feet - These do the job well. I bought them to swim in open water with my mates. They provide some insulation keeping my feet warm in colder water in the summer but you would need something thicker in very cold water. My mates laughed at them and said they were ballet shoes when I first put them on because they use boot style swim find/socks. But they are fine for the summer and I'm very happy with them.
