We bought this air purifier and humidifier to improve the air quality in our apartment, especially now that the days are getting colder. Our indoor plants were also starting to suffer from the lack of humidity, so we needed a solution. During the day, we mostly keep it in the living room, and within just a few minutes, it raises the humidity from a low 30% to a much healthier 45% when running at full speed. After that, we switch it to auto mode and let it do its job. I’m not entirely sure if it can humidify the entire apartment (85 sqft), but at night, we move it to the bedroom and set it to night mode. It’s almost silent, and we wake up without dry air, making sleep much more comfortable. Overall, a great purchase—highly recommended!

The product provides effective and consistent humidification with quiet operation, and easy fill design. The design of this humidifier is very modern, and what I like most is that it doesn't make any noise like the previous one I had. This one is almost imperceptible, so you can sleep all night without any problems. It performs the function of humidifying the air excellently.

Great machine! Works wonderfully! You do have to fill the water tank frequently, does not last a full day on setting 2. 1 star because I can't buy replacement filters anywhere!! Not from Amazon, not from the Homemedics website. In fact, when I search the machine on their website....nothing! I bought two machines. Complete waste of money now that I can't buy replacement filters!!! Ugh! Horrible! And they are still selling this machine on Amazon?? Shameful.

I am happy to have found a product that has air purifier and humidifier in one. So far it has worked great. When using the humidifier option it needs to be filled at least once a day which is not ideal but not a deal breaker. It is quite on level one but kind of annoying on levels 2 and up. I run it in level one so it’s ok. Seems to be made very well. I like the touchscreen buttons being on the top. They are easy to see and operate. Would have given 5 stars if water tank didn’t need attention so often and if it was quieter on other levels. Overall, very nice product.

I was tired of my whole house becoming covered in this white dust literally everywhere, so I got this style of humidifier instead. This has been a great purchase. I'm super happy with it! I don't wake up coughing from dry air anymore, it's easy to maintain, the air is just so cozy in our living space. It's not totally silent, but I wouldn't expect a small fan to be silent. It's quiet enough, not disturbing. The size is a little big, but we live in an rv where space is limited, we have a spot where it sits and it's convenient to fill and not in the way. The air quality and humidity is good with this thing running. And the best part, NO WHITE DUST ANYWHERE!! Highly recommend this

Perfect filter. Double check your model number before you order

I’m returning this after just one week. It’s a shame because both the purifier and humidifier functions work really well in a mid-sized bedroom. But what’s the point of having 4 speed settings when only one of them is actually usable? Anything above level 1 is so loud, you can’t sleep, watch TV, or even have a phone conversation without turning it down. I also own a Levoit 400. While it blows a lot more air, it’s significantly quieter on low and medium speeds—though it doesn’t have a humidifier, which is a trade-off. I just realized with this product that the noise level isn’t the only thing that matters. While the levoit noise is closer to a loud wind in your years, this machine sounds like someone is clearing their throat right by you, it sounds like my subwoofer when i’m testing it without using the other speakers, very unpleasant! Now, to be fair, I saw someone call this “just a fan,” and that’s not accurate. The evaporative humidifier might be simple in design, but it works well. It creates a finer, more evenly dispersed humidity that reaches much farther into the room than ultrasonic humidifiers. Those tend to soak the immediate area around the machine, which feels nice if you’re sleeping nearby—but over time it can feel like your room got rained on overnight, which can lead to mold. This machine raised the humidity in my bedroom and bathroom from 38% to 46–48% on night mode or level 1. The water tank lasted two full nights on low, which is impressive. That’s the main reason I gave it 3 stars. Otherwise, it would’ve been a 1-star product for being hands-down the loudest air purifier I’ve ever used—even if only briefly. Hope this helps someone out there!

This Homedics 2-in-1 Humidifier & Air Purifier has been a great addition to my home! The air feels fresher, and the added humidity helps with dryness, especially in colder months. The air quality sensor is a great feature, automatically adjusting to keep the air just right. I also love how easy it is to move from room to room thanks to the built-in handle. Maintenance is simple, and refilling the water tank is quick and mess-free. The soft night light is a nice touch, creating a relaxing atmosphere, especially at bedtime. Plus, it’s quiet enough to run all night without any disturbance. If you want cleaner, more comfortable air with a soothing glow, this is a great choice!

This machine is good. Humidifier works great and it silently works in night mode. Auto mode works fast and increases humidity in 5 minutes. Only air filters are expensive.

Me está salvando la vida con su purificador de aire, pensé que era más pequeño pero igualmente tiene un tamaño muy práctico. Me encanta que puedes solo usar el purificador y solo le agregas el agua en el tanque si quieres también tener la función de humidificador. Me alegra haberlo comprado. Hasta incluye un asa para poder moverlo fácilmente. Es una chulada de aparato. 👍

This is an amazing air purifier and humidifier. My mother has cancer and going through chemo therapy, and we needed something that would purify the air while keeping is moisturizer. This machine did it all! It helped my mom survive and be able to breathe freely. Thank you so much! I highly recommend this item.
