How much powder is needed per square meter to kill moss, I have read all the questions but it is not clear as you can buy both 1kg and 2.5kg tubs

The box says 5g per square metre. But beware. If you follow the instructions on the box and make quite a strong solution, I found it impossible, using a watering can, to spread it over the area they suggested could be covered. I managed about a tenth of the area. After the first can I made a much weaker solution in a full can of water to cover a much smaller area. That worked quite well. The moss began to die very quickly. But second beware, if you miss a patch with the solution the moss stays. Only parts that got wetted died. Why the sellers put such impossible instructions on the pack is beyond me.

Is this pure ferrous sulphate or are there other ingredients?

It looks and smells like pure ferrous sulphate. But my tub had leaked when it arrived.

Hi is it pet friendly ?

I have been using this on my lawn for 3 months. I put it on using a watering can. My cats go on the lawn each time and have not become ill. As a further precaution I keep them in doors For a few hours until it dries in. So if you follow these rules then yes it is pet friendly in my opinion

How long after the moss killer is applied do I scarify ?

When the moss turns brown/black. It takes a few days. It also depends on how much moss you have. I have had to redo patches in the past.
