Lightweight, but at the cost of being sturdy
This is a belated review after a year of owning. Firstly, the positive. This tripod is really, really lightweight and portable. It would easily go on the side of my camera bag, which is the reason I bought it as I was a reluctant tripod user. Now, positive over, here’s the negatives. So, because this tripod is so lightweight, that is also a negative. The first time I used it was on a beach, and there was a small amount of wind that blew it over. Thankfully the camera wasn’t attached at the time, but the whole tripod was caked in sand. It was in all of the joints, and the ball head, so I had to strip the whole tripod to clean it, then grease/lubricant it back up again. This was a total NIGHTMARE (if you know, you know). This has happened numerous times in small amounts of wind, meaning it looks totally bashed up with little use. I was petrified every time I put my camera on. Second, there is a major design floor in this twist lock model. After you use it, and it’s been tightened the legs twist inside, locking the leg up. You have force the leg to realign it so you can collapse it. Pain. I sent it back to manfrotto thinking it was faulty, but it was sent back to me, stating that it’s the bad design, not an actual fault with my particular one. I’ve just traded it in for another more heavy duty tripod. Just a side note to give you an idea of weight, the camera it would carry was a lumix s52 with sigma art lenses.

The best tripod to choose; Manfrotto!!
I love this product. It was what I expected. But I hadn't use it in extreme yet. But so far I'm satisfied

Great travel tripod, works very well, sturdy, folds very nice. Quality is very good, as is to be expected from Manfrotto. I have also replaced the top with an Arca Compatible one also from Manfrotto, without the need to replace the whole head, so that worked out good as well. I have also acquired spikes for unstable terrain and now I feel confident with this tripod in pretty much any conditions. I am using it for Sony A7iii, with lenses ranging from wide angle to telephoto up to 400mm. The tripod works well with all of them, for landscape as well as wildlife photography. I am not filming with it so I cannot say if it works good for that.

I have done a lot of research for a good tripod and really narrowed down to this. My main criteria were - lightweight yet sturdy, clip lock instead of twist lock, ball head. Only few things which would have been a good addition are a bubble leveler which is missing.
