Astrophysics for Young People in a Hurry: with Gregory Mone

I got it for our kids but I think I enjoyed more reading on the subject.

Terrific book

Excellent book, if your child is at all interested get this, if they are not get this book anyway and they soon will be! Audio book also great, we’ve learnt a lot from this book ourselves, complex science explained really well without coming across as patronising or talking down, can’t recommend this book enough.

This has been bought for our grandson who is showing an interest in Science. He has still to receive it so I can't really comment on its content. I thought the outer cover looked a bit 'grey' in colour, as if it's been lying on a shelf for a little while, but I'll try and give it a discreet, gentle wipe before handing it over!

It really got my daughter thinking and she enjoyed reading this.

Nice writen book for kids, some parts even for adult hard to understand but its perfect, Must have in every kids book shelf

i read the original adult version so bought this for me my daughter and she loved it, very well written and they done a great job making it more child friendly

One granddaughter really loved this for her ninth birthday, so got another one for another grandchild's tenth

Purchased this for my 14 year old grandson but decided to read it first. I feel this book is geared for readers older than 14 as it contains a lot of data that takes time to absorb. It is not a quick read. I reread many parts of the book to clarify what was being discussed. Protons, electrons, pulsars, neutrons, photons, atoms, molecules are all words I knew but needed a context for each. This book is an excellent tool for science in highschool and is written with many examples and much humour. I will be purchasing a few more copies for all my grandchildren and their parents.

Good book, easy language. Could use some more pictures, but it already has a 9 year old excited to learn more.

Must read. Kids and adults!

Indispensable complément à ce qui est enseigné classiquement dans nos écoles. Acheté pour ma nièce adolescente et curieuse pour lui permettre de se situer dans ce merveilleux cosmos .

O livro é lindo maravilhoso, mas chegou TODO amassado, até rasgado ele chegou. Eu estou muito descontente com isso porque além de demorarem mais de dois meses pra entregar, entregaram nessa qualidade péssima. E outra, quando fiz a compra com o cartão ainda era abril e só aceitaram a compra ontem. Péssima organização, mesmo que nunca tenham errado nas entregas, dessa vez esperei demais por um livro que chegou em tal situação.
