Great Value, Perfect for Meal Prepping
I have purchased these several times over the last 3 years. The first time was to meal prep a whole freezer of food for a friend expecting her second baby (and I wanted her to feel comfortable just tossing the containers, not adding to her dishes). Every time after has been for our home. My husband drives a big truck and we have a portable heating lunchbox that plugs in to his truck's outlet. I prep him meals, label the lids by writing on them with dry erase marker, and store in our deep freezer. He takes one for lunch and heats it in his truck and brings it home. We can usually get 5+ uses out of each container. The dry erase marker comes off easily with my finger, a scrub brush/dish soap, or a soapy sponge. The containers wash fine in my dishwasher (top rack). And stack great to store. They do eventually break, but that was always expected at the price. Overall, we use these for cold food (chicken salad, sandwiches, etc), meal prepping to go in the freezer and then microwaving or heating in a heated lunch box (it heats to 165°F) and they have held up great in all circumstances with all foods. The lids are incredibly secure and my husband has never had any complaints with them - he told me to keep buying them.

Lifesaver for Mom’s
The IUMÉ 50-Pack Meal Prep Containers are honestly a lifesaver in my house. When life is busy and I’m trying to stay on top of meals, it’s just easy having a whole stack ready to go. I use them for lunches, leftovers, even freezing meals ahead of time so I’m not scrambling later. They’re lightweight and stack nicely, so they don’t take over my kitchen, which I love. And for the price, getting 50 at once just makes sense because I’m always running out of containers. They’re not super heavy-duty, so I don’t expect them to last forever if I’m being rough with them, but for everyday meal prep they do the job. Honestly, they’re just simple, convenient, and make life a little easier when everything feels busy.

About what I expected
When I purchased these and did the math at about 35 cents each I knew they wouldn't be top quality. I also knew more than likely they would be disposable past 1-2 uses. So I knew exactly what I was getting into. They arrived on time and as others have mentioned no padding or anything to keep them from bouncing around the box. But only maybe 2-3 had small chips off the rim of the container. Again for the price no big deal. I did my first meal prep of dinners and when I microwaved the first one I knew they wouldn't be good beyond that first use. After a few days I finished meal prepping all my meals. They hold up in the freezer but if you don't defrost the container the rim easily cracks pieces off as you remove the lid. Would I buy again? Absolutely. I mean for $0.35 each you can't find that anywhere. And I don't have to wash dishes come on that's a plus. Yes I could go to the $1 Tree Store and buy 21-32 containers and wash them and they might hold up for a few months. But honestly I work 2 jobs plus run a business and don't have a ton of time on my hands. So this product has been great. If your considering the purchase and the negative comments are bothering you just lower your expectations. Expect to get only 1 use out of it. If you can stretch it to 2 uses consider yourself blessed. But make the purchase and save yourself some time.

Not sturdy
These are very flimsy. Put my thumb through the side trying to remove the top.

Not very good.
I love the size, they are perfect. They stack perfectly and store easily. However, they leak like crazy. Can't have liquid for lunch. They also break just washing them. I think they will be nearly one time use. To bad, they are perfect for my lunch box, just made of poor quality.

Good disposable 1-2 time us food containers!! They do well for us.
I bought these disposable food containers for my husband to take to work and toss... I’m trying to minimize bringing things back into my home from work that could be exposed to any germs. My husband is in construction and eats with his co workers. I may sound paranoid but better safe than sorry!! These food containers are good, affordable and came with lots in a pack. Since he doesn’t take left overs daily this will last a while.. on days he don’t take left overs he takes sandwiches in ziplock baggies! The quality is what it is described as... disposable!! Recently I bought a 6 pk of similar ones at our local store that cost the same as this 50 pk and the quality of both is very identical so I’m assuming no matter where I get them it’ll resemble in quality.. might as well go for the quantity right?? They are a great size to fit his left overs, they snap on well. He microwaves them without problems. So id say we’re pleased with them!! Take and Toss is the way of living right now, if these were to be Reused I would probably think differently about leaving a 5. And probably say 4 but If you plan to dispose of them after using them this is a good set to buy based on price and amount included, 50 will last you long! These also make good take home containers for guest!! We had a dinner here last week and I gave a few of our guest to fill up.... it is much more reliable than paper plate and foil!! I do plan to buy more of these cause they have be a big help!! I wouldn’t pay for another 6 pk of these locally ever again, this just makes more sense!

Worst containers ever purchased
Absolutely the worst meal prep containers I have purchased. Although they can be used for refrigerator storage, placing the in the freezer caused them to crack with plastic in the food. Also, they are advertised as "microwavable" and when placed in a microwave on low power for less than 15 seconds, melting of the plastic occurred creating a mess and unsafe food. If I could give "0" stars I would have.

What a pleasant surprise... A container that doesn't cost a lot that actually works. Nice!
I bought these containers about a month ago. I'm very happy with them so far. I'm coming up on fifty and I'm not a container newbie. I've bought them of all shapes and sizes over the years. These are what I consider a perfect size for lunch. Not too small - not too big. The lids fit just right, a little click lets you know you are secure. They aren't so tight that you have to fight the corners and they don't create so much suction that you can't open them without spilling everything. As I get older my hands simply don't have the strength (nor I the temperament) to fight with Tupperware anymore. Those days are done. These are good enough quality to clean and re-use and cost-effective enough that your husband or kids could lose or break them and you won't get too upset. Because they are black, they don't noticeably stain like clear plastic containers. They handle the microwave beautifully. No warping or anything so far. They stack nicely in the fridge too. I haven't used them to freeze stuff so I can't speak to that and I wash mine by hand so I can't speak to how a dishwasher is going to treat them but they are thin so you should be somewhat gentle when washing them. Are these the ideal container for watery broth, no. For a nice chowder or stew, sure. For dry food, veggies, and snacks, absolutely! For screws, nails, and tool brick-a-brack, yep! For first-aid items, kitchen clips, hooks, and twists, you betcha! These fit a sandwich with a snack on the side perfectly. If you are going to use these in a kids lunch box of lay them on their sides, I'd put a rubber band around them just to make sure the lid doesn't pop. For the price, they are far better than I thought they would be. I can even write on the lids and it comes right off with a little soap and water. I'm very happy with these containers and I use them for a variety of things - not just food.

Smaller but deeper than expected...
Smaller but deeper than I thought. The advert picture shows a fully cooked chicken drum with attached thigh, noodles and veggies on side. In reality the chicken would have to be in sections and piled on top of 1/4 the noodles and 1/4 the veggies to fit in the container. It can hold 3 cups of soup and cleans nicely in the dishwasher. Has not warped from use in the microwave (after 5 3 min heatings.) It is good for temporary use.
