Bought this to replace the little “tank-like” gears at the bottom of my original plate (the bits that index into the clamp) after I broke them. Happy to report: it does the job — clips in, holds my camera, and releases cleanly just like the OEM plate. If you need a direct replacement, this one’s fine. A couple of real-user notes so you know what to expect: It follows the original dimensions almost exactly — maybe a hair larger. On my DJI RS2 the plate still felt a bit loose inside the quick-release clamp (the part that grips the plate). Because this plate matches the original, it was actually slightly better than the battered OEM one I replaced, but not perfect. I wrapped a thin bit of tape on the baseplate where the clamp bites and that tightened the lock so it doesn’t wiggle. Works fine but it’s an extra little hack. Bottom line: five stars because it functions like the original and fixed my broken bits. If you’re picky about zero play, plan to shim it (tape/rubber) for an absolutely snug fit on an RS2.

I've bought it to allow for balancing my RF 100-400 Canonn lens on EOA R7. The original plate was too short for proper balancing the set.

Queda muy bien en el DJI RS4, diría que igual que uno original

Purchased this second ronin plate for use at weddings. I’m generally at the front during processional, but use the gimbal as the bride facing 3 shot during static portion of ceremony. Using this plate with its quick release feature will allow me to swap the camera from gimbal to tripod and back again without disturbing the gimbal balance. Would recommend if you film ceremonies like I do or just want fast flexibility
