Product Description Review: Good quality. Nice kit. - This is a nice little kit with everything you need for basic shoe polishing. It comes in a fairly durable bag with a zipper seal so you could take this on a trip or leave it in your desk at work. This is a cream type polish so a super high shine is not what you’re going to get. What you do get is shoe cleaning, conditioning and a medium shine. And this product does all three of those well. I found that you didn’t need much on the end of the brush applicator. Just dab a little on and then brush it back and forth on a small 2x2” area. You can actually see small scratches and scuffs disappear. Leave it sit for awhile until it starts to go slightly dull, then buff it off with the included buffing cloth. The cloth is not lint free and some small debris is to be expected. But the cloth does a very good job of bringing up a medium shine (see pictures). The only negative I have is that there are no instructions or video by this company that you can go to. Shoe care and polishing is like a lost craft in the United States. While this product is very good, it would be absolutely great if the seller would give some instructions or direct to a video. I would buy this product again. Review: Polish works great - This is a creme polish. I thought it would be a thinner consistency, but I was glad to see it wasn't. While it is not quite as solid as traditional shoe polish, it is a very thick consistency. It is really closer to a solid than a cream. I have long used a cloth to apply the polish, but I tried their application brush. I put a little too much on at first. The brush made it easier to get into crevices, but it was a little hard to control around the soles. (I was using it on golf shoes that are black with white sides to the soles). Maybe the answer is to use the brush, but if you don't want it on the sides of the soles, use a cloth to apply around the soles. The shoes I was using them on have seen a lot of harsh conditions, and the black color was starting to look thin. This made the shoes look great. I am really happy with this polish.

Basic kit with great results
Confession time: I've never polished a shoe before. When cheap shoes show an embarrassing level of wear, I've historically just tossed them. Last year, I bought my first pair of high-dollar black oxfords, and they were starting to show some wear on the toe, so I bit the bullet and got the most basic set I could find. It would have been great if there was just a little insert with some brief instructions for beginners like me, but it was easy enough to find some directions at the Red Moose website. Frankly I'm amazed at how simple it is to rejuvenate a scuffed up pair of oxfords. A little brushing, a little polish, a little time to let it sink in, and a little buffing with the cloth...bingo.... black, shiny shoes with almost no sign of scuffing. I was so impressed, I tried it with another pair. The results were just as good! Note that I'm not looking for a spit shine finish, but what I got was pretty much how they looked when the shoes were new. That's a great result for a relatively basic yet inexpensive kit and just a few minutes of time.

Not the same.
Definitely not like the basic shoe shine type.

My boots look fresh!
My pair of Doc Martens have seen better days and needed a little TLC. They have been on many adventures with me and I love them. I haven’t ever used polish before or on these boots before. The polish was easy to use. It absorbed and dried quite quickly. It left a slightly waxy feel that I am assuming (again new to this) will provide some additional protection to the leather. The supplied brush and rag were so nice to have. Given the size of the polish jar and how much product I used, it should provide me with multiple polishes. My boots look SO much better! A before and after is shown via the attached photos. They do still feel quite dry so I will be getting a moisturizer to add to the process next time and do a moisturize and polish routine more regularly. Came quickly! Thank you so much!

Brings back the life of your shoes!
This show polish kit was just what my shoes needed. It worked really good and was easy to use. I feel like they look almost brand new again! The color and texture is just what I was wanting. It doesn't last a super long time, but I also wear these shoes a lot.. like 20k steps a day at work! It came with enough to do it several times so it's a good deal for a quick refresh and extending the life of my work shoes!

Just what I needed
Needed to make some old shoes work for a wedding. They were too rough to wear as is... natural leather bleeding through the die where it was worn as shown in the pictures. My old shoe polish was hard as a rock and my applicators were falling apart so I ordered this kit. Arrived quickly and had everything I needed. Worked like a charm. I'd recommend the product. I was a bit worried that all the cool branding would translate to an overpriced simple product (shoe polish), but the other offerings were all in the same range and it worked great so I'm happy. I'll be getting some brown shades to clean up some other boots/shoes too.

Makes black shoes blacker; shiny.
This is a nice little kit with everything in it you need to make nasty, used up leather shoes look pretty nice again. The included brush and cloth were all I used to apply the polish and subsequently buff my shoes, and as seen in the photos, the polish worked quite well. Doesn’t cover up white paint that I managed to splatter on my shoes, but this is polish, not paint. I probably could’ve done a better job if my toddler wasn’t CONSTANTLY messing with stuff, and if I used a burnishing brush, but I wanted to use just what came in the kit and I think it did a good job for the four minutes I spent.
