Magic Spoon High Protein Granola Variety 2 Pack - Low Sugar

One of my favorite meals is plain nonfat greek yogurt with honey, raspberries, blueberries and these granolas. I was ruining the nutritional value adding high sugar (with added sugars) granola. I could make my own granola but who has time for that!?! This granola has changed the game as it’s high protein and fiber, but very low sugar (1g), no added sugar and very tasty! I think the peanut butter and honey are the best flavors, I wasn’t a big fan of the chocolate. I like that it’s a bit more chewy and less crunchy than other granolas. Plus you get a cool free spoon with each order (I now have a lot of iridescent spoons in my silverware drawer). I feel sufficiently full after a “yogurt parfait” using these ingredients. YES it’s expensive but the way I think of it is, you’re paying for the protein. Most high-protein foods are more expensive. PS I do use a mason jar or pan (depending on the day ;) to crush the granola into smaller pieces. I don’t like the big chunks and prefer it to mix well more crushed with my yogurt and berries. Disclaimer is that I don’t eat this granola plain, only mixed into yogurt and berry bowls.

I first heard of Magic Spoon via their cereal line and was never really interested to fork over the $10 they were asking for since it is just casein in cereal form. People complain about the cereal sticking to the back of their teeth which is to be expected because it is casein. Hard pass for me. But then came the granola!!! I am a convert now. This stuff is amazing for someone who hasn’t had a Nature’s Valley oats and honey granola bar in 20 years from being on a low carb diet. There was no adequate replacement for granola before Magic Spoon made this product. I only eat 1/3rd of a cup daily so the bag lasts a week. If you must have this granola everyday that’s about $40 a month for granola, which can be excessive but for people who eat low carb and rarely eat out, $40 is basically the cost of a dinner out. I prefer the honey almond over the peanut butter. It has a richer deeper flavor. Texture wise, it’s got chewy parts with crunch from the nuts. It does not get soggy in yogurt or milk. It has everything that makes it a perfect granola replacement on a low carb diet.

My wife orders this product and she enjoys eating it due to it being very high in protein and she enjoys the flavor.

I really enjoy eating this granola, as it is a clean, high fiber, and high protein granola. But, it is very caloric for so little. You barely get any in a serving and it’s a lot of calories so it’s disappointing.

I don't know why I keep falling for their marketing BS, but I do and that's on me. This "granola" is disgusting. The peanut butter flavor tastes heavily of monkfruit and the flavor you get when you suck the salt off peanut shells. The honey almond is slightly better, but I would not say it's "good". Both have a stale texture, like not crispy or soft, but somewhere in between. Unpleasant at best. Definitely overpriced, the macros aren't even good, and as you already know by my description, the texture and taste leave much to be desired. I think there are way better protein granolas out there. Skip this one. It's not worth the hype.
