Really nice build, quality is great and was happy with the price I paid for it.

This is my all time favourite Starfighter from Star Wars. For #50 or so this is an absolute must for collectors. I have three now (including this one), Two 7259's and this one. I'm yet to acquire a clone wars era one for comparison. The 7259 version from 2005 is quite large and has a larger wingspan and overall structure. I love the 2005 one more for nostalgia than anything but it definitely has interesting design features. This version is brilliant it smooths out everything that could be clunky and makes the entire ship flush. The inner assembly is very well thought out and hidden away inside of the hull under the cockpit areas. The wing assembly is controlled by a bar at the back that moves a series of cogs etc to have the S-Foils unfold and then fold back which is far superior to the original rubber band and clunky cog setup from the 2005 version. Overall took me about 2-3 Hours to build (Took some breaks) and wasn't too difficult. The only area I'd say some would find tricky is the inner assembly of cogs etc. Very good variety of pieces, only missing the creme-ish coloured circle with the red outlines that they used to stick on them. Could have had a Jedi maybe too.

For all of the dismissal this set gets I think it looks really clean and a good representation of the ship definitely would recommend
