This DVD player has been fantastic. We've owned it for almost a year now and it hasn't skipped a beat. The battery life is pretty good for its size, gives a great picture and decent sound. The price is hard to beat, and it just works. Again it's been almost 1 year and it hasn't let us down not once. If I could give 1 gripe it's that the display doesn't quite get dark enough in our opinion. If we watch a movie on it at night it can be quite too bright even on the dimmest setting. But other than that it charges fast, includes both a 120AC charger for home and a 12v charger for the car, also includes a car head rest case so you can mount it on the back of a cars seat head rest for say a child to watch. Honestly, I wasn’t really expecting too much for the price. I just needed something for a 20 Hour road trip. Here we are going into our third year and they have held up nicely! The case that holds the TVs is pretty flimsy, but it’s not the biggest deal and certainly not a dealbreaker. The only bad thing were the remotes. They never worked. They were like a gimmick or a toy, which is irritating, as we have to open up the dvd player while it’s in the case or take it out of the case to restart a movie, etc. The convenience of a remote is what I will be sure to look for with my next buy, which probably won’t be from this seller. Great product at a great price!

Good picture. Works great for travel and we got this for times the power goes out. The volume is the only con. It's a little low.

If you are looking to avoid internet and scrolling for kids I highly recommend this dvd player. Easy to use only holds on disc at a time. Came with a case with buckles to hang from a car seat or something when traveling. Very reliable. Hold a charge for a long time. It does only do DVDs so no blu ray but for a kid that’s easy. Connects well to blue tooth headphones is needed and love that it came with a cigarette lighter charge to keep plugged in the car for long trips. Easy to adjust sound and next buttons all very low tech. Price for what you are getting is a great deal. Have recommended this to my close friends as well.

So far, so good. PROS: This little DVD player suits my needs perfectly. Plus, it plays music CD's also, which is what I had hoped. Un-confusing directions and buttons on the unit. Pretty user-friendly. Nice little carrying pouch. Not a lot of bells-and-whistles that I neither want nor need. Simple. Nice clear picture, and surprisingly good sound, which is good since I want to play music on it too. Lightweight (some might say 'cheap', but that's how it is these days). Truly portable, especially with the provided carrying pouch. Good seller, quick delivery. CONS: Yes, it does feel cheap, like most things from China. The on/off switch on the right side of the unit is tiny, hard to reach, and if the power cord is plugged into the unit, it's hard to get your finger in there to flip the switch. A small drawback, but could have been better designed. Clearly, this unit was made for portable use, not necessarily AC plugged-in use. I hope it continues to work nicely for the long-term. Better than the DVD player I bought at Walmart, which actually cost more.

Wasn’t sure about this as produces great! Got it and it works great came with seat attachment chargers! Works great for our kiddo! Def a must have!

Update on June 2019: Rating has been downgraded from 5 to 3 stars, here's why: The unit broke again in less than 18 months... based on life alone, and just like I did in my original review (below), I would have NOT downgraded because, in all honesty, the use I put this through was tough. It withstand moderate to heavy use quite well, considering the price. However, the controls in the new unit are flimsy from day one (waaaay more than the older version). The range of the remote is super limited, and the speakers suck. So in all honesty, it doesn't deserve 5 stars for quality. It needs improvement to make it all the way to 5. Another reason for me to downgrade to 3 stars is because I learned this seller is overpricing the item. You can get the exact same thing from other sellers, here on Amazon. Price is a big factor for me, so with reasonable pricing, I'm willing to buy another unit even if it is not the best quality. I just got my third unit from Spacekey , and I'm not being paid to compare. I'm genuine in my feedback. *Original Feedback I have bought this product twice: In October 2016, and in December 2017. Here's an updated feedback based on both purchases: After more than a year of taking heavy wear, such as countless falls and the like, my old DBPOWER that I bought in 2016 is no longer working properly. In all honesty, had I bought the extended warranty offered by Amazon, it probably could have been fixed. I still rate this product as excellent and a good value, so I bought the exact same product without thinking about it twice. I have never had an electronic gadget taking so much falls and still working like nothing happened (screen in good shape all the time).... so 14 months of heavy use is reasonable, to me. The new unit that I bought in December 2017, features some updates in its interface. The device itself seems to be slightly thicker in its dimensions, but it still fits my old DVD holder, so that works. There are a few other modifications in some of the accessories, but the overall quality seems to be as good as the previous version, so I am a happy camper. This time I bought the extended warranty offered by Amazon because we are tough users. All in all: I am really impressed with this unit. It can even play partially scratched discs other DVD players failed to recognize, so I really value that!

Plays great. Cords are good and long enough. My special needs daughter loves the red color. Has good sound. Thanks for a nice product.

The buttons on the player rarely work -- have to be pushed repeatedly. The stop button on the left is a prime example: I have to shut the player off and start again. I have played approximately 25+ discs and most of them froze 2/3 times for a few seconds at a time. If the remote control is necessary for this machine to work properly, I did not see that on the Amazon site. Most discs start out with clips from other films - promotions - but while this is playing the sound is extremely loud and it is impossible to reduce the sound. This can only be done when the feature film begins. There seems to be no way to maintain a reasonable sound level, thus I have to put up with the initial excessive noise no matter the time of day or night. The buttons for +/- sound also have to be pushed 15/25 times to get down to a reasonable sound level from 19 to 14 -- if only it would stay there. The fact that the picture quality is very good does not make up for the struggle to get the buttons to work or the screen to freeze now and again.
