TOMAHAWK 15 HP Engine Driven Portable 2,000 Watt Generator with 210 Amp Stick and TIG Welder with Kit

I opened the crate and I am amazed at the completness of the item. All that could be added is a helmet and rods. The welder started right up and I was welding in minutes. I love it and the quality. Later today when using the welder for the first time with a near full tank the fuel leaks around the gauge. Can't get customers support.

This welder generator is an amazing piece of equipment. With minor adjustments I was able to get it they way I was comfortable. Modified the legs to be taller and swapped the wheels out for larger steel hub solid tires so I didn't have to bend so much when moving it. Swapped the Dinse sockets for standard 35-50 so u could use different leads. With a few bucks I was able to make it into a better machine than ones 4x the price. Great for those on a budget. Also, after the first tank of gas I suggest changing the oil as that is the "break-in" period of the engine which will extend the life greatly. Make sure you watch your time. Some try to use it without a break and it burns out the machine too fast. Leave it running for 10 minutes after you finish so it can run a cool down cycle.

I have used this tomahawk welder several occasions it works so smoothly. It’s really controllable on temperature of the weld makes everything just perfect.

I have only used it once. It arrived and was easy to finish assembly of handles and wheel kit. I added an inline filter to the fuel line, added gas and oil and it cranked pretty easy. I also bought longer cables and assembled them. It welds good, I ran it for a couple hours on a small job, no complaints yet. UPDATE: the 120v outlet is DC, which is useless in most cases, i burnt up an air compressor before i figured this out. I don't know of any power tools they will use 120v DC instead of AC

The outside dimensions of the unit would be very helpful so a proper size storage cover can be ordered for it, a cradle or stand bracket to hold the welding cable to the unit when not in use would help too.

This machine is very mobile so I can move it around my property and do everything I need. I was surprised that it had the capability to TIG with all of the equipment except of course the gas. I called Tomahawk company with a question and they were able to entertain my issues quite well and I was very satisfied. Later the Tomahawk called me to see if I was satisfied with the Welder/Generator snd if I had any problems of any kind with it. This is an example of customer service care with confidence in this machine. I am glad that I bought this welder and feel comfortable that if I have any problems I feel that they will be there for me.

Great machine no issues as of yet. Only thing to note it does make a loud turbo sounding noise when welding. Other than that great machine. Put a digital hour meter on it and change oil.

Purchased on 5/13/22, received on 5/16/2022. Installed on service truck 5/31/2022. Went to start it on 6/1/2022 and it only cranks. Has intermittent spark when we had spark plug out checking it. Replaced the spark plug with an NGK spark plug. Still will not start, has plenty of fuel. Went to Amazon support, was told it was out of warranty. Currently on the phone with tomahawk customer support. We have another one of these in another service truck and it works great. Will update when issue is resolved.
