Sturdy and we'll made
Pleased with this trainer and the vender. Arrived quickly and very well packaged with no damage. Easy to assemble and works just as advertised. The only negitive comment would be its not as quiet as I would like. But all things considered its a nice trainer at a resingnable price. Intend to recommend to friends an family.

Great trainer after initial setup
Setup: This took longer that it should have. As others have indicated, the holes where the main bolt is supposed to slide through (or thread through, doesn't matter neither worked) does not fit. The fix was to scrape out the excess paint with the side of flat head screwdriver. Spent 10 minutes trying to thread it and then force it before just scraping out the excess paint. Also, the nut that the reverse-threaded tension bolt screws into was a hassle to get aligned. This step took 20 minutes but seems to be a one time adjustment... if you're always using the same bike. After the initial setup, swapping the quick release and setting up the bike takes under 1 minute. My bike is a 29er Diamondback Overdrive mountain bike (700c rims). I recently replaced the knobby 55mm tires with 37mm commuter tires as I'm mostly on paved trails these days. Plus it makes for a quieter ride indoors. Noise: I measured the noise between 65-70 decibels (just below vaccuum cleaner or hair dryer level) when going 20mph+. This is extremely comparable to other fluid trainers, even at double the cost. I have my trainer setup in a finished/carpet basement so the noise is not a problem. No vibration. Is it going to be as quiet as a $1200 wahoo kickr, no. Ride: I find the ride to be incredibly smooth through all gears. IF I incorrectly adjust the tension knob, peddling can feel very unnatural and choppy - so you may need to play with it. The amount of resistance as you shift through the gears is more than adequate to get a difficult workout. The trainer itself feels very stable and sturdy. Overall: 4 stars. The setup should be easier - they could have designed a couple things better. But these were all short term problems that were solvable, at least with my bike and where I have it setup. If you're on the fence, watch more youtube videos on the different types of bike trainers to get a sense of what to expect. For the money I spent I'm satisfied.

Works for me!
Update 2-26-23: had an issue with the unit, contacted the seller and got excellent support and follow up. Original review July 2022: Was easy to assemble and the bike for right into the unit. Few small adjustments to get the right tension on the tire but it's stable and allows your to change gears and it generates resistance as you pedal faster. Met my needs to get aerobic exercise using my own bike without leaving the yard or house. At high speed it does generate a whirring sound do would not suggest using it in the middle of the night if there are others in the same room trying to sleep.

Fits my 29" Specialized Mountain bike
I thought I would be a stretch to make it fit my 29" hard tail mountain bike, but it worked perfectly. Also, I live on the 3rd floor of an apartment complex. My husband was concerned about the vibration generated on the trainer, so the solution was a 1.5" thick yoga mat to reduce the vibration level. It reduced considerably, however I restrict the use to our patio to avoid any discomfort with my neighbors. Great product. Not hard to assemble as some have said.

Do not buy for 29" MTB Decent product overall, but bad hardware choices where made.
The trainer itself is well built, and has a good bit of weight behind it. It came with a front tire block, so I do not need to source (make) one. In fact my only complaint. This is the only trainer conversion I found that specified that it can handle 29" bikes, worked with skewers, AND could handle riders over 250 (in fact they say it is rated over 300) the problem is the skewer they included in the package. It is a bit scrawny at 4.84mm compared to the 12.28mm screw in skewer that is in my mountain bike. More importantly it is about 9 - 12mm too short to catch the threads on the nut that is required to adapt to the trainer frame. This skewer looks like it was made for a 1980s road bike. If the company can come up with a fix for the skewer problem, I would gladly give them a 5 star review as the trainer itself has every appearance of living up to its claims and being a good low budget trainer for the off season, but as it stands, I would recommend staying away from this trainer unless you have through bolt axles. Edit: At this point I am very disappointed with this product. It is well built, but the seller/manufacture has cut corners, and presented apparently misleading claims about their product. It DOES NOT fit my 29" mountain bike. I had top buy a longer skewer to fit my bike, but the skewer they provide, I doubt would fit any mountain bike meant for adults. It is designed for road bikes. I would recommend it for smaller bikes, but in my experience, the claim that it fits a 29" bike is misleading at best. I intend to try a few experiments to see if I can get it working, and will continue to edit this review as I have more information.

Beware- not easy to assemble
Great product- drawbacks are lack of instructions- lack or hardware- lack of correct provided tools- easy assembly once you figure it out one key piece is the knob screws in counterclockwise (only took me an hour to figure that out. You can substitute the missing hardware for about five bucks from home depot. otherwise a good build quality.

Has been a lifesaver during lockdown and something I will continue to use afterwards. Easy to set up. It’s my first purchase of a bike trainer and now I am getting a feel of it I am certain these get more sophisticated but at this end of the spectrum this is functional and does the trick. It’s reasonably quiet too. Feels solid and reliable. Delivery was rapid and it was well packaged. Instructions were not great and there is still, worryingly, a bolt that I cannot place anywhere. Guess I’ll soon find out

Ohhh... so disappointed initially. Bought as a Christmas gift for my husband but the instructions and parts bore no resemblance to the actual product. Tonight was to be the trial run as the weathers been too stormy to go out for a cycle, but we’ve just finished working out how it goes together!!! After a couple of reruns! We’re not stupid. In fact I’d just finished plumbing my new washing machine!! Instructions unclear. Product was displayed correctly on front page of “instructions” but that’s where the similarity finished. The colour and parts were totally wrong! I hope to place on purpose bought mat tomorrow and get its trial run!!

This manufacturer should be embarrassed at the low quality of this product, even key bolts are not long enough. I spend more time trying to keep this stable and from slipping than actual cycling. Don't recommend it.

Easy to install. Use it almost everyday so I highly recommend it.
