DoubleCheck Protein and Microalbumin Urine Test Strips for Urinalysis (50ct), Check for Preeclampsia, Proteinuria, Microalbuminuria and Kidney Health

I wanted to try a more convenient, quick and less expensive way to monitor my kidney health, I know that healthy kidneys filter out protein and if protein is ever leaking out into my urine, this may mean that I would want to talk to my doctor. So, I looked specifically for a preventative screening tool for Microalbuminuria (Early Detection) and Proteinuria (Kidney Management). I ordered a 50 strip box of Protein and Microalbumin Urine Test Strips for Urinalysis from the life-2-O Store. There are two foil wrapped packets of 25 test strips in each bottle gives me more time to use this product before expiring. Unopened, the box kit will last 2 years, but once you open a 25 count packet, you should use them within 90 days. The 90 day count down starts after a packet is open. For best results, test both morning, and at night. I was able to perform a home test with results in 60 seconds. The color chart is printed on the bottle. The two color pads measure protein and microalbumin (which is the smallest size protein). Included in the box is a detailed leaflet explaining how to do the test. I cannot locate the FREE E-BOOK – Complete guide with easy to understand effects of protein and microalbumin in urine. But the video, linked to the website is helpful. The Protein and Microalbumin Urine Test Strips by life-2-O performed as expected and I rate them as a 5 star product or convenience and usefulness.

Main complaint is it's kind of hard to read. Other than that, seems reliable however I have no alternative tests to compare the results again so it's up to your own trust!

Microalbumin color was so off I had to double check I wasn’t accidentally mixing it up with the protein the result. Definitely more reliable & easier to read tests out there. My last two photos show a comparison of my old test strips with these ones (including with old test strip color references for context). Bought these new strips because they’re easier to dip but guess I’m still going to keep using the old ones anyways.

While the microalbumin gave a solid color the protein squares were different colors in the middle and the edge, making it impossible to read.. Would not buy again.

What I like about the life2O DoubleCheck Protein and Microalbumin Urine Test Strips: I like that they list an expiration date on the side of the container and on the foil packets. There is an inner safety seal to keep the product safe plus an outer cellophane wrap. The strips are easy to use: just dip the stick in the urine for 2 seconds, the hold the strip horizontal so excess urine can drip of the strip is vital to getting most accurate results; then read the results in 60 seconds. You must keep the strips away from sunlight and heat to which they clearly instruct. The instructions are clear and easy to understand. I wanted these strips to keep an eye on my urine after I have surgery and found them to be accurate as I compared them with my doctor’s office visit results. The strips are wrapped 25 to a foil packet to help keep them fresher for better accuracy. The test has double testing on each strip for each test. Good quantity just keep from kids hands as its easy to open. Glad that its affordable and easy to replace.

These strips are used to test for Protein and Microalbumin in urine. They can be useful to have at home to check or monitor. They come in an opaque container and inside the test strips are sealed into 2 packs of 25 strips. Each strip tests both Protein and Microalbumin twice, with 2 tests side by side for each one. If the two test for protein or two test for microalbumin are significantly different than the test is invalid, this is done to ensure quality of the test. The protein test I had no issue with and the colors match each other closely. The microalbumin test is what I've had issues with. I have tried several tests on different days and one test gives me blue around the edges with a very light blue to white center and the other one is light blue to white. I'm not sure why the 1st test always comes out with some kind blue, but only on the edges? This makes it hards to understand the results and I'm not sure if they are accurate. Other test strips I have used for multiple things, have always been a solid color in their square and I have not had this issue before. I feel confident in the protein test but not the microalbumin test. Disappointed only one test is working accurate.

The life20 Double Check Protein and Microalbumin urine strips are exactly as described and well made. From the air tight bottle, two separate foil packets with 25 strips each (to keep them fresher longer) and a good instruction pamphlet. These strips do a 'double' test on each strip so if one test pad was reading an error shade, there is another on the same strip for quality control. If you've used other strips for anything from this to testing swimming pool water, then you know how to use and read this style color pad analysis. I'm very happy with these strips as they are quick and easy - and help me keep a watch on my health here at home instead of waiting between check ups, and if I have any concerns with the reading I can call and set up an appointment to have it looked into further. They are good for 2 years while tightly sealed, and 90 days once the foil wrappers are opened. Best Used dates are also stamped on the product.
