First of all you need a e27 to b22 socket adapter for conventional indian household socket, so do check that.Look is good, light is good quality, ie light is soothing, calm & less straining to eyes.But for 40 watts brightness is on the lower end.If you are buying for less blue light exposure at night & you dont care about having bright light or you also have an alternate light for brightness then go for it.If you want bright light, this is not it.

Nice bulb set of two.I expected a little more thicker tungsten filament so that it can be used forlong time.I have no idea if it will last for many years or not. But it is definitely a better replacement for my LED reading light-which emits Blue UV light along with other wavelengths. Not good for long term exposure..So I guess this will help reduce the blue light exposure at least from one source .I had to order a matching holder also as these have screw in type of bulb base.Working well. Lets see if it will go a long way or not..!

So far this is Good i am using and build quality is also good for the price.. Consumes about 40 watts which is okay and it generates mild heat which is good as i use it to heat source for small bird cage to keep the cage worm for birds in winter.5 Star for Build Quality at this price4 Star for power consumption5 Start for quality4 start for continues use for last 3-4 weeksUpdate: Its still working fine after 1 year use

I purchased this Homesake Edison ST64 bulb in December and it stopped working within one month. Surprisingly, the total usage was not even 5 hours. One day it just didn’t switch on. When I checked the bulb, I could clearly see that the filament wires inside were very thin and both the connections had come off.It was fitted in a normal ceiling holder and used properly, so there was no misuse. For a decorative bulb at this price, I expected much better quality. Very disappointed with the durability. Not worth the money.I'd suggest the seller to work on improving the quality of the product.The brightness for a 60W bulb is way too less.
