Very nice and well made

My original watch band on my GW-3500B was cracking so I went in search of a new one and got this. Overall I'm pretty happy with this product. Differences from the original: • Obviously, it is not OEM so it is not exactly the same as the original. • The resin has a matte finish rather than glossy, so if you are looking for a precise match to the watch body you might want to look elsewhere. Visually, it's not really that noticeable to me, though. • This band is slightly thicker than the original by about .5mm • There are removable stainless steel reinforcement tabs for the screw holes on the original band that are not on this one, and the tabs will not fit in this product. It remains to be seen how that will affect the overall lifetime, but I'm more concerned about how this resin will hold up over time around the buckle. Beyond these differences, the watch band fits perfectly and its overall aesthetic is a very good match to the original. I had no problems mounting it and it feels good on my wrist. And actually, I'm growing to like the matte finish of this product better because the watch band retainer doesn't slide around on its own like it did on the old one.

The replacement does not match the original band in color or texture. The original band was semi-gloss black; this band is flat black. The attaching points (where the band attaches to the watch) on the replacement are not designed to fit the metal pieces that support the actual pin that goes through the band.
