This is a GODSEND.....
All my kids have struggled with some form of wart at some point in their lives, no one more than my 10yo daughter. First it was molluscum, then it was the common wart (which was what we purchased this for). She has had them off and on for a while, never fully getting rid of them just having moments where maybe 1-2 were present and not 8-10. Hers have always been on my legs and feet (top and sides, not bottom). Sheโs a competitive cheerleader and is a flyer, so she was always self-conscious having her stunt group be in close proximity and contact with her warts (we tried to keep them covered bc they would often bleed at practice). When we ordered this product, she had 5 larger warts and 3-4 very small (developing) ones. We had already tried to wart bandaids, the liquid gel stuff, another freeze-off product, and the duct tape method. Nothing seemed to work. I can tell you now, she is 100% wart free for the first time in a LONG time. It wasnโt overnight type results, it took weeks for them to all vanish....but one by one they did. And we only used this product ONE time, no reapplication after the initial one. Here are my thoughts on the โcomponentsโ of this product.... Application: So easy to use with the instructions provided. It was literally fool proof. There was only one complication but it wasnโt the products fault....my daughter had a really large wart and the opening of this made for a very tight fit. I shouldโve taken that as a warning, but I proceeded anyways and the applicator got stuck on the wart. We freaked out, thinking we would rip the wart off trying to get the applicator detached BUT after a few moments it came detached on its own (once the freezing agent โwarmedโ(?) up I guess). Pain/Discomfort: Anything like this product has the potential to sting for a second and be mildly uncomfortable, but it should never be downright painful. My daughter did โhissโ a few times and say it stung, but that sting was minor she said and it lasted maybe 10 secs max. When I asked if it made her not want to do the next one, she insisted I keep going. We literally did 6 warts that first evening all back to back and she was fine through them all. Results: It took at least a week before we began to see any type of results and even longer for the warts to come off/disappear completely. She got discouraged, I became frustrated bc I just wanted to help her. But eventually, the larger ones beginning showing signs of detaching. Then the first was gone, and one by one the rest followed. What I found to be bizarre is how even some of the smaller ones in the general vicinity of the larger ones we treated vanished during this time as well. It was as if they had disappeared beneath the surface (they never showed signs of falling off like the others). Since most of hers were in clusters on her knees, I figured that maybe this had affected the surrounding areas as well. Thatโs my only guess considering we didnโt apply this to every single wart yet they are all gone. Overall, I canโt recommend this product enough. Iโm not saying the bandaids donโt work or that other freeze off products arenโt as good as this one....I am simply speaking of my own experience with my 10yo that went from 8-10 warts to now having none a little over a month later with a single application.

It does not work
The product fails to function as intended and causes significant irritation to my skin. After applying it, I immediately experienced redness, itching, and a burning sensation that persisted for several hours. Despite following the instructions carefully, I noticed no positive results, only discomfort and sensitivity. Overall, it was an unpleasant experience that has discouraged me from using it again.

Kind of works, mostly doesnโt
When it does work, itโs great but it mostly doesnโt work. I was able to remove 3 with this before it gave out completely. I followed the directions exactly, pumped 4 times and held it in place for 30 seconds. Nothing was released most times but I didnโt know until I realized nothing changed a few days later. Wasted lots of time.

Works on Skin Tags
This will work to freeze skin tags and they will eventually die and fall off, in my experience. I had to freeze the tag until it is white and there was a stinging pain involved. I found that you need to pump it several more times than the instructions indicate. I left the pen cover over the tag for 10-20 seconds so it could get very cold and had a white "frost" on it. After treating a skin tag several times I have had good success with them shriveling up and falling off. There is some mild pain involved and it takes a couple weeks for your skin to heal. I used this on small to larger tags (as long as they can fit in the hole of the pen). This was an easy method for the removal of skin tags but it isn't a cheap one and patience is involved as it takes a few treatments.

It workedโa pesky wart gone
Freezing a wart for removal is always a balanceโtoo much freeze causes too much collateral damage, too little doesn't get the job done. True in the doctor's office, but with home-freeze kits, the big question is whether it will get cold enough to have a chance. And also how well it targets the wart so as to minimize damage to surrounding tissue. This one got cold enough, but it took more pumps than directed. I was conservative on the first try, and while it caused so peeling of the wart, it didn't get deep enough. The wart was on the back of my arm, just above the elbow, so it was awkward for this kit, which is specified to work on wands and feet, easier to use as directed. It's important to keep the applicator inverted so that the liquid stays on the wart while evaporating. In my experience, if you don't feel a little sting, the freeze didn't penetrate the wart enoughโbut you don't want actual pain. I gave it the directed number of pumps (3), kept it in place the directed 10 seconds, I didn't feel the sting that let me know it made it through. I think I did 5 pumps, and waited for that to evaporate, and I think I repeat with few more for good measure. This time it was perfect, it didn't develop a blister, but it made the area a little sore, and it was apparent after a few days it had completely dried out the wart, it was flat. It peeled off in a few more days. I gave it five stars not because it will get rid of any wart when used as directedโthe directions err on the side of safety. A doctor know what he's working with and can adjust accordingly. But warts are tricky, and even an expert won't always remove it by freezing in one try. The five stars are because this one CAN get cold enough to get the job done, and is a good design for limiting the area it affects. A dermatologist is working liquid nitrogen, which always is cold enough. Home freeze kits work with liquids that barely get cold enough. At least this one does it efficiently enough to work on a small to average sized wart.
