Early failure and poor support.
The switch is having multiple connection issues approximately 7 months into deployment. TRENDnet support recommends making some configuration changes that DO NOT exist in the firmware. When asked for an alternative solution to change this setting for fix the issues, TRENDnet has gone silent. I would like to return is for repairs/replacement, but there is no response. I can understand infancy failures, but I cannot understand the poor customer support. I will be reconsidering using TRENDnet equipment on any future upgrades.

Great switch. Not very easy to configure
This really is a great switch. Only complaint is the web interface and documentation. I personally don't find the interface easy to understand (the docs are ok as far as it goes, but there are no use cases on WHY you would use a feature or not. I have pretty much "sorta mastered" the interface at this point, but it wasn't easy. Still, for the price, a great swtich!

Got sent Used product.
Got sent used product. The previous owner still had a “WAN-SD” printed label on it. This was supposed to be brand new. Lifetime warranty is not valid if it's used.

Doch zu schwierig einzurichten
Eigentlich wollte ich mein Netzwerk auf 2.5GbE umstellen und bestellte diesen 24 port Managed Switch, der vom Preis-Leistungs-verhältnis stimmte. Da auch der vorherige Gigabit Switch managed war, dachte ich, daß ich die Einrichtung auch bei dem Neuen hinbekomme. Leider erwies sich das als Fehler. Es fing schon damit an, die Login IP so anzumelden, daß ich mich über IP Breite meines DHCP Servers/Router einloggen konnte. Es gibt zwar einen Einrichtungs-wizard, aber der half am Ende auch nicht wirklich. Das Endresultat war, daß die Verbindungen unentwegt abbrachen, und ich keine adequate Zuteilung der Bandbreite konfigurieren konnte. Ich bin kein IT Admin, doch solche Kenntnisse sind für diesen Switch erforderlich. Am Ende habe ich mir einen 4-port + 2xSFP+ unmanaged QNAP Switch gekauft (QNAP QSW-2104-2S), der tatsächlich Plug-and-Play und anstandslos einige wenige Devices mit höherer Bandbreite versorgt, ohne mit dem 'alten' Gigabit port in Konflikte zu geraten.
