I ordered this to connect my external drive to my router that does not have a USB port but I forgot to order a female to female adapter. I just wasted $ and i am going to have to install the drives in a computer case and set it up as a (really) poormans NAS.

Exact part at way less cost
A genuine Lenovo accessory at about 1/3 the price. Works exactly like it should.

"It werks!"
It works perfectly. The only thing is, the adjacent usb-c port on my Thinkpad T490s became inaccessible when this ethernet adapter (as designed) was plugged in. So, I cut off almost the entire left side of the rubber+plastic housing. Now I can use both the ethernet adapter and the extra usb-c port. I highly recommend doing this. Use a rigid razor sharp blade to cut off 1/2 to 2/3 of the housing, then gritty sandpaper, then fine sandpaper. Lenovo, at least just design an adapter that fits. You don't even need to redesign the laptop. Otherwise, rational customers will chop off the left side of the housing of your product and be correct and justified in doing so. (end rant)

Lenovo x1 yoga 4th gen. Compatible.
Fantastic Ethernet dongle. X1 yoga 4th gen Lenovo. It is the specific male plug that fits in the mechanical docking/ Ethernet network extension dual port. I assume would fit latest gen of carbon x1 as well. This is not a review yoga flex or any other Lenovo T450...ect. I only know this fit my x1 yoga Lenovo. No bottle necking. Got full 950mbs+ download and upload speeds from my 1000mbs fiber/Ethernet connection. Worth every penny!

Great for gaining or adding an Ethernet port
Works as advertised. OEM adapter. Used it to add an additional Ethernet port to my T495.

Correct Ethernet adapter for 6th generation Carbon X1
This is a correct dongle for Carbon X1 6th generation. Shipping was extremely fast and item works well. If you are installing it in new Carbon X1 you need to remove plastic tab that covers the port on the laptop.

Works as described, perfectly.
When you have multiple items plugged into the thinkpad, there is not a great deal of room to attach this extension. I had shave plastic off the sides of the plug /jack to fit it into the Ethernet port along side the jacks for the other devices. That said it still works as I wanted (ie avoiding use of our wifi network).

Hat wirklich 1000 MB Übertragunsleistung bei LAN
Es gibt auch heute noch überholte Modelle mit 100 MB Leistung für die Übertragung, die angeboten werden, als ob es aktueller Standard der Entwicklung ist, was aber herausgeworfenes Geld ist. Da ist WLAN besser. Dieser Adapter überträgt wirklich 1000 MB und funktioniert einwandfrei.
