Hairstory is not talked about enough! These products are made for hair ! Once you use it you’re going to see the difference! I have a shag cut & this primer and the air dry leave in are a perfect match to get the hair texture right!

My first order arrived almost empty with the bag damp. I gave it a second try and ordered again - the product seems to make my hair feel a bit brittle after a blowdry, very different from what it claims.

This primer has no scent, which is good if you are sensitive to scents or don't need an additional one in your hair. Overall I don't understand the function of this product-or perhaps its not made so much for me. I have straight, fine hair so I thought I'd use this as a detangler after my shower but it didnt detangle things much. I've also used this on dry hair as a way to keep the baby hairs down but also didn't do much to stop that. Again, maybe it's not meant for my hair but if it's not doing much for fine straight hair, I can't imagine it helping thicker hair. I will keep using it to see if I get different results in different weather but otherwise I can't see myself purchasing this in the future.

The Hairstory primer is weightless and odorless. It doesn't weigh the hair down, feel greasy or cause buildup. It's a very fine mist allowing for even distribution. It's supposed to provide UV, pollution, humidity and heat protection and it's free of harmful ingredients. I have thin, frizzy, wavy/curly hair and it helped detangle knots, made my hair slightly softer and a little less frizzy. I have only used it twice so far on wet hair and just air-dried both times. I had never heard of this brand before getting this primer. I really like what the company is about, their mission. I'm totally on board with fewer, better things. Better for our hair and the planet. I like this product but I'm not in love with it and for the price I would need to love it. I am interested in trying their other products though.

Love what it does to my very fine but freezy hair. Smoothes it really well.

Excellent product, used it after new wash and brushed my hair with my usual horse hair brush, very satisfied with the results it gives. ☺️ This is a big bottle and you only need to spray a bit of this mist on your hair for weightless hydration, so I'd say it is well worth the price. Very fond of Hairstory and the care that goes into developing their products.
