I have to buy 20+ different kinds of soft food for my extremely finicky senior cat. She doesn't ever want to eat the same thing twice. She'll love something one day and snub it the next. She's a brat, but I love her, so I just buy one or two cans of all the fanciest foods I can find. This is the only kind she will eat every day, so she gets a random food for breakfast & always one of these for dinner. I can only find this stuff at the grocery store for some reason, and they don't have the salmon, which she loves, so this pack is perfect. She really loves the gel stuff on top. This is some of the softest, finest pate I've ever seen. It's a good choice if you have a senior & need to mix their food with water.

My cat love these! But does anyone have issue opening the tear away tab? They need to re-invent a way to open these!

The mousse texture is soft and smooth, with a light gravy that adds moisture and flavor without being overpowering. The smell is mild compared to other wet foods, which I appreciate, and my cat absolutely loves both salmon and tuna varieties—she cleans the bowl every time. For the price, the quality feels premium, and I love that it keeps my cat happy and healthy without breaking the bank.

The cats really like this food, so no complaints there, they clean the bowl every time. That said, the foil lid does not peal off like in the commercials, its stuck on there really firm. It’s hard to pry up, and when it finally gives, it opens all at once and cat food juice goes flying everywhere, which is not fun first thing in the morning. I’ve ended up just cutting the foil lid with a knife to avoid the mess. The food itself seems great and the cats are happy, but the packaging knocks it down to 4 stars for me.

I have an elderly cat who has thrown up for so long. I’ve gone through ever Two dozen dry foods, at least the same amount of different wet foods, and this is the first wet food she has never thrown up and eats all of it. Could just be her, but for the last few months I buy this for her exclusively. More expensive, but of course, in her golden years, worth every penny. She loves it and wanted me to share :)

Convenient packaging. The boys like the pate and the flavors. I split one between the two cats. It works out perfectly.

My cat is very picky but seems to really love the texture of this and the gravy. However, the packaging is so horrible! This morning the little foil pull tab ripped right off in my hand and just continued to rip off in tiny pieces until I could get it about halfway open (my cat only eats a small amount of wet food at a sitting and prefers it to mashed a bit with a spoon, so I only give her half and reserve the rest. If you are going for getting the pyramid out intact/no trying to preserve the container, it's probably somewhat easier. The shape and size of the full serving did not appeal to my cat at all, she wouldn't even touch it). Good luck not getting the pungent liquid on your hands and everything else, sometimes it will spray out while you're trying to open the foil. I would wholeheartedly recommend this if it came in a 3oz can. But I dread wrestling with it and the price fluctuates a lot; it isn't the most economical choice. I've bought this twice and the price was wildly different each time (about an $8 dollar difference).
