This seriously works! It keeps quad green for days and fresh. You can actually make it ahead and not worry about it darkening.

I have only used it for a couple of days. But I'm already seeing my guacamole turning brown. Its hard to know when you have gotten all the air out. It does have good suction. Maybe it just takes time to get it right. It is larger then I expected. We'll make. Not sure about being easy to use. Since the main issue is making sure you get all the air out of the container. Seams very sturdy,and is not glass.

I bought four of these last year. Three for Christmas gifts and one for me. It works great. I’ve only used it a couple of times but it absolutely keeps the guacamole fresh, no discoloration overnight. Only rating four stars, however, because the rubber seal already has some sort of tear in it and once it tears all the way through it will be useless. I’d really like a replacement seal. Please let me know how to do that.

The seal, you press anything down you put in it guacamole or pico. It keeps it fresh like the day you made it. I’ll be ordering more.

Absolutely worth the purchase, works as advertised. Yes, it holds a lot, but if you like guacamole, that’s a good thing. Since it keeps the guacamole really well (and I have never experienced any browning when using this container) we have been able to enjoy the guacamole over a period of several days. This container is dishwasher safe (yay!), easy clean.

I was quite excited by the good reviews. The design does allow the guacamole to remain green, so that part is great. I like the size, it is not too large since I make large quantities of guacamole. Unfortunately as you push the lid down into the guacamole some of it enters the space between the clear lid and the green rubber on the lid. The guacamole cannot be cleaned out of this space. I have tried a high intensity water sprayer to no avail. I can force a piece of dental floss between them, but that is not enough to bring the trapped guacamole back out of the space. Eventually mold forms in this space. It is necessary to press the lid down to force out the air, but that also allows seepage of guacamole into this space. In hindsight I should have put a loose piece of plastic wrap on top of the guacamole and THEN pressed the lid down. This might have kept that seeping guacamole out of the lid. I would like to try this solution, but not sure I want to spend the money to buy another one to test my theory. I did read about this problem in the reviews, but did not heed it sufficiently. My dilemma now is whether to toss the lid and keep the bowl. The bowl itself is nice and could be a plastic serving bowl, but it would be lidless.

Holds way more than guacamole! Great for summer salsas too. The seal allows the flavors to marinate for a potent flavor. Size is great for the refrigerator and you can stack them on top of each other. Bowl fits 2-3 times the portion of most recipes. Cleaning is super easy in the dishwasher! I received my 1st one 4 years ago as a gift and purchased my 2nd one this summer. The new model has a deep clean tab to make cleaning the bowl even easier. Very durable and high quality.
