SlimFast Protein Shake, Milk Chocolate, 11 Fl Oz (Pack of 12)

I like that these shakes are an easy meal and are healthier than what I'd probably be eating instead. The milk chocolate flavor is fine. It's not great, just fine. It's not as creamy as I feel it should be, but it does have caffeine in it, so I appreciate that little pick-me-up. I bought both the milk chocolate and the mocha latte flavors. The mocha latte is far better, so I probably won't be buying the milk chocolate again. The shakes make me feel full, and it usually replaces my breakfast. I'm not really tracking my weight loss at this time so I can't speak to that, but I like the convenience of these as a meal replacement. I do wish the containers were easier to recycle though. Overall, I'm glad I gave these a try and will plan on buying more of the mocha latte in the near future.

Great flavor. Filling. I drink one for breakfast or lunch. Like a light chocolate drink. Good price. This is my 4th purchase i believe. Will keep buying. Nutritious.

I have 1 every morning. Has a bit of caffeine for a kick, and very little sugar. Can’t find them in stores anymore, so I order them here.

I LOVE having these on auto delivery. They’re a perfect replacement for breakfast. They’re delicious and so easy… grab and go. They’re also great for when you aren’t feeling well but you know you should eat.

Very disappointed that Rich Chocolate is no longer available. This formulation is too sweet and taste like chocolate milk I had at recess in the 3rd grade.

I accidentally ordered this instead of the chocolate without caffeine, however, I was pleasantly surprised. The taste was unique, not sure how to describe it, but it was different from plain chocolate. This also has the same consistency as the other ready to go shakes - watery. So if you like the thickness of the shakes you get from mixing yourself, you might find yourself disappointed. However, these like all the other ready to go shakes have the benefit of flavor consistency which you do not get with self mixing due to settling of the powder. These are good as the other slimfast high protein shakes at keeping you fuller longer. If you're looking for an easy meal replacement shake that is ready to go, this is definitely a solid choice. I prefer slimfast over stuff like Ensure and Boost. The cost of these feels high, but the packaging is very sturdy. Plus, making them shelf stable while being palatable is no small feat. I prefer to use the ready to go for mornings where I don't have the time to mix and then clean a container. Be sure to talk to your doctor first before using this for weight loss.
