I own several of these racks and want to purchase a couple extra shelves to add to the bottom. Can I purchase these separately?

Shelves can be bought from Whitmor for approx $13 but you will also need the sleeves to hold shelf to poles. Add shipping costs too. I got this info when I called Whitmor to tell them that the top shelf cannot be used for storage because it must be placed at the very top in order to hold the canvas cover (which was an additional purchase) tight across at the top. Otherwise it sags for lack of support and looks messy. My comments were not received well when I mentioned that this item does not have two shelves for storage if the cover is used. Otherwise the item is sturdier than other storage units I've bought.

If you choose not to use the wheels, what is the overall height?

With the wheels installed it is 70 1/2 inches from the floor to the top of the pole. I also measured the pole only without the wheel from top to bottom and I got 68 inches.

how long is the clothing rack n what is the weight capacity?

The rack is 35 inches long. The maximum weight load is listed as 176 pounds. I have loaded the rack to capacity, and there is no sign that the rod is bending. The rack appears to be sturdy.

What is the height without the casters?

The casters add 3" to the 69" rack to make it total 72".
