Not perfect, but pretty darn good!
First let me say, this thing is great! For what I wanted it for and the relative ease of use, this ice mold is totally worth the price. I'm being nit-picky when I say that it's not perfect... I've left a couple of drip trails across my kitchen floor and had to pick up some ice detritus off the bottom of the freezer... because it works well almost from the get-go. My only issues are: 1) the fill-holes are small, I hope you have a steady hand (not much you can do about this... like I said, nit-picky), as I've taken to filling mine and removing the ice spheres in the sink so I have less to clean up. Filling, there's a lot of overflow; removing, there are small chunks of excess ice frozen on the top of the lid and sometimes between the ice molds. 2) There's a bit of a trick to getting the ice spheres to release from the mold. I was trying to be too gentle at first (for fear of ripping the mold), but then it would take too long and my fingers would start to hurt from the cold. I've found that a little bit of force/manipulation of the mold top goes a long way to getting it to drop the balls, as well as pushing up on the bottom mold in getting it to release. I've found about 3 out of 4 times, the ice stays in the top piece of the mold, of the 4 or 5 times I've used it so far. 3) Not sure what to do about this, but there are spaces between the base and the lid when secured, that can fill with water and create a small ice shelf. Less so now that I know and I press down on the 5 "buttons" that help to secure the top to the base, but the nature of the silicone trays means a certain amount of flexibility and this causes those gaps. The first time I had an ice sheet connecting 3 of the ice balls together, more recently maybe 1 or 2 look like models of Saturn with the rings, but a lot better. Overall, this is exactly what I was looking for and it works very well! Very happy with this purchase!

Great product, high quality, easy to use and maintain
The Ice Ball Maker Mold is just amazing! Having a huge 2.5-inch ice ball looks fantastic and fun in a glass of drink. Just having that super large galss-like sphere is esthetically very mesmerizing and fun. Plus, it keeps your drink cold for a very long time. The volume of each ice sphere is 8.2in3 (134mL!). The product is made of a high-quality silicone rubber. Very sturdy and durable, easy to clean. I am going to Europe in April and will definitely order a couple more of those. I am sure they will be a big smash there. The other product I ordered is a mold for ginormous ice cubes. re the molds for the ice cubes. Again, they are ginormous, 2in x 2in x x2in, producing 8 8in3 (131mL) cubes! What I am planning on doing is to make smaller ice spheres, by adding some colorful flavors (strawberry, lemon, lime, raspberry juice) . Once they are frozen, I will place them in a large sphere mold, and freeze those asap. Curious how those will turn out.

Pretty good
Works great, but there are a few small issues. It says not to fill completely with water and they ain't lying. If you fill it all the way ice will start coming out of the hole and you'll have to break it off. It's not hard to break it off but when you do it seems to compromise the ice ball. It'll get a big crack in it and break apart in your drink making it melt faster. The problem is that it is very hard to fill with the correct amount of water because you can't see how much you're adding. You could use a small beaker and play around with measurements until you find the perfect amount but that's a lot of lab work for an ice ball. Second issue is that the ice does stick a little and you got a yank on her a bit to get her out. this also seems to shave some of the ice off. Other than its a pretty good little product.

Nice little novelty ice cubes!
This is a nice product; works well for large ice cubes. I've followed a couple of recipes and am actually making half-spheres of ice cubes with blood oranges as we speak! Easy in; easy out -- very nice!

Aunque cuesta cerrarlo, siempre se escapa un poco de agua y luego para sacar las bolas de hielo tienes que trabajar un poco
