So far all of the seeds that I have planted have harvested, most with high germination rates as well.The basil, chives, and dill all had very high germination rates.The basil grows like crazy and is excellent. I have other herbs sprouting at the moment as well. The fact that it is self sustainable and that the booklet it comes with teaches you how to obtain seeds from each of your harvested plant's is really great.For the price this absolutely can not be beat. At most stores a pack of basil seeds alone will run you around $3 while this has around 2,700 seeds of different varieties and is again, self sustainable, so you can keep reusing the seeds year after year all of which are non GMO.Highly recommended 5/5

So far I've planted rosemary, basil, oregano, chives and thyme. All of those had a high germination rate that I conservatively estimate at 80%. I used a growing medium of coco coir, potting soil, perlite, and fine gravel, starting them in small 1qt containers.While I did have trouble at first getting the basil to sprout, all it took was a week of 80° days to get those to pop. Most of these herbs prefer full sun for several hours per day - lacking that they will not thrive and will probably be spindly and weak.If you pay attention to the soil ph, sun, and moisture requirements of each, you should have good luck with these. The collection would make a great gift for anyone, a fun project for kids, and a great way to have the freshest herbs available.

Great seed, I’ve had good success with everything but the Rosemary, which I was a little bummed. I’ve tried everything, followed the instructions in the booklet and I can’t get them to sprout. Everything else popped up well. 9 out of 10 is pretty good. Just trying to find out the right balance of our Hawaii sun so they don’t get fried. Many of them are labeled as full sun, but the sun’s a little more intense here. Nice little instruction booklet.

Planted all 7 of the transplantable seeds. All but lavender have sent up up at least one shoot. I dropped the lavender as I was removing it and the parslet from the cold stratifications. It is now replanted and back in the cold for 42 days. I first saw pettetized seeds about 5 years ago. It is a great thing for small seeds in that it aids in their handling without having any effect on the germination times. The seeds from this seller have proven to be reliable, even the Rosemary is up and growing, which in itself is remarkable. I'll keep this seller in mind when I am shopping for seeds. just remember, keep the seeds covered until they are germinated and ready for light. Most seeds will not germinate unless they are covered with earth to shield them from the light. Follow the seed package instructions to the letter and enjoy your garden.

I was excited to find these seeds, as it’s hard to find good quality organic, heirloom seeds online at a decent price, even harder to find on Amazon.Pros—-They arrived quickly and in good shape. The package comes with all listed seeds and a growers handbook that includes tips on how, where, and when to plant/grow the seeds included. Most of the seeds sprouted and are growing fairly decently.Cons—— Not all packets have decent amounts of seeds in them. I opened up the lavender packet, and literally found about 8-9 seeds(see attached photos). To top it off, none of the seeds they provided ever sprouted. So in regards to the lavender, it was definitely a complete waste.Overall, I’m pretty satisfied but only gave a 3 because I mainly purchased this pack because it included lavender and was disappointed to find I received only 8 seeds and bad ones at that.If you’re buying for the other herbs, I’d say it’s a good fit for you! I've been gardening for 27 years, and am pretty good at it. I can propagate from seed, cutting, leaf, etc. etc. ad nauseum. I'd call myself an ol' pro at propagating from seed so, based on other reviews, I expected to have great success with this set and was excited to receive it.Out of this entire seed grouping, less than three dozen seeds even germinated! They took forever to do so, and the ones that did were painfully slow to grow and very, very weak. Three months later, not a single plant survived.I feel like I must have either gotten a very old set, or else perhaps the set I got was exposed to extreme heat at some point. Either way, the seeds were bad and that makes it a complete waste of my money. And if that happened to me, it can happen to you, right? So...can't recommend this product AT ALL.

Update 7/14/17 - I am on my 3rd batch of cuttings (in 3 months) of both the oregano and basil. These plants grow like weeds! Just simply take a few cuttings off the main plant and root them in water. You'll have several plants constantly growing and fortunately, these grow indoors during the cold season as well! Added more pictures.I bought the vegetable seeds also from this company (that are also doing great by the way!) so I thought I'd try the herbs as I prefer to use fresh rather than store bought dried.I started out just planting the oregano and basil and they grew very quickly! Last week I planted a few more and they are already starting to sprout as well.We love cooking with fresh vegetables and herbs and I would highly recommend this product!

8/10 seeds have sprouted as of today (roughly 26 days after planting). I’m hopeful that the last two germinate soon, as they did have longer germination ranges noted on the packets. However, every other seed I planted has sprouted successfully and they’re thriving. I’m starting everything indoors early so that I have good starts to transplant into my garden this Spring. I will be using these for culinary purposes. If the other two sprout, I will update my review.Update: every seed has now sprouted! The last two took some time but they are germinating. If I had to guess the germination rate for the last to is about 5-10% at best. But at least some sprouted!

Good full packages of seeds and they came really quickly. Good value for the price as each of the packages runs around 4.99 if purchased individually.

Absolutely thrilled to have received the seed collection package. Very professional looking and cant wait to get started. My friend was so thrilled she wants one too. Lovely book insert too.

Planted three times - twice in soil and one in hydro garden....only the basil sprouted. Comnplete waste of time and money - terrible quality.
