Great product , does exactly what I need it to do. •Has white backlight that turns on when a button is pressed and turns off automatically. Can check current wattage (realtime) , Current Amps (realtime) , AC voltage (realtime) , Electricity cost (over a period of time) , Max wattage (realtime). Overall a pretty good monitor.

Has been great for monitoring various electrical devices. Easy to use once set up. (You have to put in your current electric rate to calculate cost accurately and set up the overload setting to 2900kWh. Also you have to clear data each time before plugging in a new device, but it comes with instructions on how to do this.) About 8 different modes, I mostly just use the one that tells you kWH and cost to run. Clear display, backlit, but light goes off after about 10 mins unless you press a button again.

Good meter, works well but frustrating that the screen is so big yet the information is spread across so many pages that you have to cycle through with the buttons. Just make the text smaller and put it all on one screen!

I have two LCD monitors, several computers/laptops, an Amazon Echo speaker, game console, various lamps, USB chargers and a UV insect zapper all connected via an extension lead to a single mains socket. My partner was worried that I was overloading the socket and causing a lot of expense by leaving monitors and computers on all the time. This power monitor showed that I was usually using less than 100W and a maximum of just over 200W for a cost of about 30p per day. The socket is rated for up to 15A at 240V, so 3600W, and you will only get near that if using an electric heater, old vacuum cleaner, kettle, hair dryers etc.. Most modern electronic devices are quite low powered in comparison. So this has been very useful for putting our minds to rest regarding that particular mains socket. It was easy to set up too, I just set 00.26 for the KWh rate (which is even a bit high it was closer to 23p over the Summer) and set the backlight on for 8 hours at a time so it is easy to read the display from a distance (the default timeout is 10 mins). The only difficulty you may have is if your sockets have bad access and are not easily visible, maybe behind furniture or other large objects. In that case you could use an extension cable of sufficient rating to get better access and make sure you plug anything you are monitoring into the power meter socket (not other available sockets on the extension lead)

Product works well and is easy to use. The display is very clear and easy to read and its simple to switch between modes for different readings (volts, amps, baggage, cost, etc). Main issue with it is the appliance plu going into this device doesnt fit snuggly like a plug should. It protrudes a couple of mm.

We are loving abroad in Germany and brought along some 115v appliances. To power them, we got a couple of voltage transformers, which many told us to use sparingly due to their high consumption, especially when the transformer is idle. I wanted to see how they actually performed, not how others claimed they would. So, I got this. It reads voltage, watts, and kwh, and also times the load. This thing is pretty cool. Not only did it do what I wanted, but I could measure use over time. Power here is expensive, so I wanted to know if it would be less expensive to buy and run 240v appliances. For my case, I think the answer is "no", as the appliances are used for a few minutes a day and the meter verified that the transformer only adds about 26 watts to the usage and pulls the same 26 watts with no load. I expect it would get worse as it warmed up, but that's not likely here and we can shut ours off when not in use. That's another thing we were warned of, that the transformer would pull power even switched off. In our case, at least, that is untrue. Ours pull 0 watts turned off. Back to the meter. It's simple to use, and tells me the information that I want to know. The display is simple, logical, back-lit when plugged in to a powered outlet. It works great. Delivery was fast and it was packaged well.

Ich habe dieses Strommessgerät gekauft, um meine Nous A1T Smart Steckdosen zu kalibieren. Die Bedienung ist wirklich einfach und die Werte können mit wenigen Tastendrücken abgelesen werden. Wichtig bei der Kalibierung ist, jedesmal das Gerät zurückzusetzen, da sonst ggf. falsche Werte ermittelt werden. Für das Zurücksetzen sind zwei Stifte dabei, die den Reset-Knopf betätigen können. Für das Kalibieren habe ich einen Heizlüfter mit zwei Stufen (1kW und 2kW) benutzt und die Werte stimmen zu fast 100% überein. Das Strommessgerät selbst ist wirklich gut zu handhaben und das mitgelieferte Faltblatt (Handbuch) ist sehr verständlich geschrieben. Es kann auch als Dauermessgerät verwendet werden, um über einen längeren Zeitraum die Leistungsaufnahme zu messen. Ich selbst, habe diese Funktion bisher noch nicht benötigt. Das Strommessgerät selbst fühlt sich wertig an und übertrifft das erwartete. Für den Preis, eine klare Kaufempfehlung. Den Stern Abzug gibt es wegen den Reset-Stiften. Es gibt keine Halterung, in denen man diese hineinstecken kann. Diese liegen dann quasi auf dem Gerät und fallen, wenn man nicht dran denkt, immer herunter.

I could detect which of the devices use power when off. I could also see a perspective of using my main PC vs mini PC with Intel N150. It was 3 x power consumption on idle difference. Sure, these numbers are not 100% accurate but it gives you a picture and lead to how to manage your electricity bill more efficiently.
