Not really. It’s what you would expect. Quieter than a blender for sure. It’s a light use product and not intended for heavy duty applications. Cutting cooked deli meats is super easy. Yes there is cleanup but only takes a few minutes. 10 minutes max run time to keep the motor from overheating. Then take a break and go again. Took four minutes to slice top round roast beef in super thin slices. 3 pounds.

How do you clean it after raw meat ? The blade comes off and that's it, you can't stick the rest in the sink because of the motor

Yes, the blade comes off and you can wash it. The rest of the surfaces are easy to clean in my opinion as there are no nooks and crannies where food would get stuck. I clean it by the sink with soap and enough water with paper towels and then rinse with wet paper towels. I do not submerge the slicer in water but use enough that the slicer gets clean from all the meat. Hope that helps.

Is it quality made???

I've had mine for 6 months now; it seems reasonably well made for the price. Very few plastic parts.
