Reliable smart lock easy to install
I’ve been using it for years now and it’s been super reliable. It gives me peace of mind to know that I get alerts for my doors when I’m away. The app is easy to use and paired with the rechargeable battery I don’t have to worry about constantly buying batteries. I highly recommend it for added security and peace of mind in your house or apartment.

WAY to big and ugly
I needed a smartlock that doesn't require a new physical key, so I bought this one because of the Switchbot integration as I already have a Switchbot hub (for temperature sensors) which connects well with SmartThings. The functionality works fine on this lock, but this thing is HUGE! Looks awful on the door so returned it for another brand. The other brand I'll keep instead (Anona Holo) unfortunately doesn't work with SmartThings, but at least it looks a good bit better. (I can still access remotely like this Switchbot, but it just requires yet another app.)

Very disappointed
It’s always recalibrating! Used it for a week then I got sick and tired of recalibrating every other day! Returned the item! Buy another brand!

Super Türöffner und Verriegelung. Die Installation ist sehr einfach und die App gut zu bedienen. Meine Frau hat sich mal ausgesperrt und ich konnte per Handy von meiner Arbeit aus die Tür wieder öffnen. Normale Akkus halten nicht so lange weil mein Sohn viel Spaß damit hat

After installing it in combination with keypad exactly a year ago my family literally became keyless. I kept keys in the pocket for the first few month to feel safe but hadn't used them a single time. So convenient and reliable. Minimum installation hassle (just had to take the inside lock handle off). A few times I was able to remotely open the door for my in-laws while I'm at work. All it takes is just one tap in the app. Highly recommend the device.

Funktioniert sehr oft nicht! Mit keypad lässt sich häufig keine Verbindung herstellen um PW zu generieren. SwitchBot muss fast jede Woche 1-2 mal neu kalibriert werden! Einfach nur China Schrott

⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3/5) – Good for Accessibility, but Tiny Screws are a Real Issue As someone with mobility challenges, I really appreciate the SwitchBot Lock Pro’s button press feature — it lets me easily lock and unlock my door without struggling with a traditional key. It’s a huge help on days when my hands aren’t cooperating. 🔧 Installation: The installation is mostly simple, but the tiny hex screws they include are a real problem, especially if you have issues with your hands. The screws are so small and hard to manage that I had a tough time getting them in place. The included Allen key is also tricky to use, and if you have limited hand dexterity, this could be a huge hurdle. A magnetic screwdriver would be a much better solution here. 📱 App & Performance: The Auto-Lock works great, especially when I walk away from the door, and it locks automatically. But the geofencing feature (still in beta) is unreliable, often failing to unlock the door about 80% of the time. I was hoping for better performance, especially with the geofencing, but it’s still not up to par. 🌐 Ecosystem: The SwitchBot Hub works well, allowing you to control everything from one app, which is very convenient if you have other SwitchBot devices. The overall integration is smooth, and I love being able to manage everything from my phone. 💡 Final Thoughts: For $99 CAD, it’s a decent lock, especially if you’re looking for something that’s accessible with a button press. But the tiny screws and unreliable geofencing are definitely areas that need improvement. If SwitchBot can fix these issues, it could easily be a 5-star product.

I had been looking at smart locks for a while and decided to give the SwitchBot Smart Lock Pro a try. It seemed like a great option based on its features, the positive reviews and for my use. Unfortunately, my experience started off on the wrong foot as soon as I opened the box. The packaging seal was already cut, and it was clear the product had been opened before. When I removed the lock, I noticed that the back of the device was already opened and not properly secured. I went through the included materials and found that several pieces were missing, which meant I could not even attempt installation. Because of the condition and missing components, I had no choice but to return it. What made the situation worse was finding out that free returns were no longer available for this item, so I had to pay out of pocket to send back a product that was clearly used and should not have been resold as new. I genuinely wanted this to work out and was disappointed not just by the condition it arrived in, but also by the return experience. I hope this was just an isolated issue, but it is something to be aware of.
