It was mostly assembled. Just had to attach battery and arm rest.
My step dad is 98 years old. Gave it to him today....he loved seeing it and using it. Looks to be good quality , has the basket for his portable oxygen . The swivel seat is perfect. So far he loves it. I will give another review after a week of use . But so far beautiful and everything looks easy to use.

Excellent Mobility Scooter โ Comfortable, Reliable, and Great Battery Life
I purchased the Vive 4 Wheel Mobility Scooter for a family member, and it has exceeded every expectation. From the moment we assembled itโwhich was surprisingly quick and straightforwardโit felt solid, well-built, and designed with real-world use in mind. Stability & Comfort: The four-wheel design provides excellent stability, even on uneven sidewalks and parking lots. The seat is comfortable for longer outings, and the adjustable armrests make it easy to get on and off. Performance: The scooter has smooth acceleration, easy steering, and a tight enough turning radius to maneuver around aisles and smaller indoor spaces. It handles outdoor surfaces without any issues, and the motor feels strong and responsive. Battery Life: One of the standout features is the extended battery. It easily lasts through a full day of errands and still has charge to spare. The included charger is compact and quick, making it simple to top off whenever needed. Portability: Even though itโs a heavy-duty model, it disassembles into manageable pieces, which makes transporting it in the car much easier than expected. Perfect for travel, doctorโs visits, or weekend trips. Extras: The front basket is very handy, and all the controls are intuitive and easy to read. Overall, this scooter has been a game-changer for mobility and independence. For the price and features, itโs hard to beat. Highly recommended for adults or seniors who need a reliable, comfortable, and long-lasting mobility solution.

Giving me my mobility back!
Live Saving! This arrived quickly and was super easy to get set up! The shipping box was a little intimidating; but was perfectly packed to keep it protected in shipment. When I first started unpacking it I thought that it smelled of cigarette smoke. After I had it in my car for a couple of days the smell transferred to my car. I realized it was not a smell of cigarette smoke that I was smelling it was the smell of the leather seat and the rubber from the tires. The smell subsided with in a couple of days. I have joint and muscle issues as well as breathing issues requiring oxygen. My portable oxygen concentrator fits perfectly in the basket or on the deck between my feet if I need to use the basket to carry other items. This assembles and disassembles quick and easy and fits perfectly in the back of my Chevy Trax- just what I was looking for! With my issues I can easily put it together/take apart and get it in my car in less than 5 minutes. It runs at the perfect speed to get me where I need to go. It steers easily and turns well! I love the color - I got the blue- am sad that I scratched it the first time I put it in the car by dropping the seat on one of the fenders. :( May hit the auto parts store to see if I can get some touch up paint to fix my screw up! The seat is super comfortable and the adjustable arm rests are easy to adjust or leave off if I don't want to mess with them (reduces weight of the seat section) Personally I think the battery feels like weighs more than the rear section which is what they say is the heaviest part. I like that I can leave the scooter in my car and just bring the battery in to charge. I also have a power inverter in my car that I can plug the charger into and charge it in the car using the charging cord that came with it. It would be nice if it had a car charger- but this is easy enough to make do with the power inverter. Thank you for including 2 keys for it and an extra knob. I will be looking for another pin for the seat to add to the key chain that came with the extra key, just in case I lose the pin. The pin that attaches the seat takes a little getting use to as it makes the seat feel a little wobbly and unstable. Initially I felt like I was going to fall off the scooter this got better after using it and adjusting to the feel. The swivel seat is great and easy to use! One thing that I am not that impressed with is how loud the beeps are when you turn the scooter on. I was in a hospital waiting room and the sound echoed so loudly that others in the waiting room commented. I also forgot to shut it off and the alarm started sounding. It was loud enough that the people working the desk immediately thought it was an alarm in the hospital it was embarrassing and frightening. One thing that doesn't show up in the instruction book is that the constant "screaming alarm" means that it is in Neutral! I tried everything when I first set it up to figure out why it would sound the alarm as soon as it was turned on. Seriously began thinking I was going to have to figure out how to put it back in the box and ship back! It was very annoying with it screaming to try to count the "beeps" to figure out what the actual alarm was. It was just an accident that I figured out that it was in neutral. -1 star for the loudness of the alarm/beeping and the wobbly feeling seat. If you are struggling with mobility, this scooter is just what is needed to help increase mobility and allow you to get going again. I am so thankful to have it!

Great scooter/ ez assembly
I ordered this for my husband because he broke his ankle and with the cast and two bad shoulders, neither a knee cart or wheelchair were doable. My husband actually put the whole thing together himself! Given his conditions above, that means it's a very well made machine and pretty easy to put together. It rides smoothly and maneuvers easily in our house. We haven't taken it outside yet. My only issue is that there's no way to quiet that loud beep. If there were a speaker we could cover it with tape. The noise it makes sounds exactly like a smoke detector, so it's quiet startling and scares us as well as the cat. Customer service was quick to respond via chat. They told me we could follow a video they sent to disengage the wires. The downside being it wouldn't beep for anything... meaning no low battery alert, no horn and would not warn us of other potential problems. Actually thinking of doing it. So despite the loud beep( turning it on, or forgetting to shut it off when idle) it is very nice. Well built, sturdy, easy assembly, simple to drive and has good turning radius. Glad we bought this one!

Great scooter for uphill use
Best purchase l could have made for my elderly dad. The color is vibrant (we got the blue) its compact yet powerful to go uphill and up our incline driveway. This has helped him with his knee pain. It also charges fast and the charge last a long time. I like that it has a horn and bright led lights. The little basket in the front is nice but l would have liked it to be bigger especially since it does not have the capability to attached one to the back like a previous model we had. The speed is go as well. It arrived in a large box note you will need at least two people to carry it in. It was super quick to assemble l was able to do it by myself. Instructions were clear and easy to understand. The build quality is good and so far has been safe and easy to use for my 82 yr young dad.

Basically good.
I bought this about 6 months ago and really only used it in the first month. I needed it for a family get together in a resort town because I am not able to be active for any length of time and would have not been able to keep up with any walking around they wanted to do. It arrived quickly and was well packaged. While unpacking the scooter I lifted up on a handle that is used to separate the two main pieces and the handle broke off in my hand. When I later called the company for a replacement I was told that I would have to send them pictures of the parts. That gave me an idea of what their customer service was going to be worth; they wouldn't send a $.50 part without proof of damage on a brand new ~$950.00 purchase (it's less expensive now). It also didn't bode well for the quality of their parts. Putting it together was quick and easy and, after charging the battery overnight, I operated it around my neighborhood and was impressed. The only (non)issue was that the battery wouldn't drain quickly enough to put it through the four to five charging cycles they recommended to optimize the battery! After arriving at the resort I unpacked the scooter to find that the cover for the headlight switch was missing and not to be found. Strike two. The scooter was definitely appreciated during our week together, by me and my family. There was one issue though, that came very close to being a problem. My brother and I traveled several blocks to a restaurant which, according to the battery indicator, didn't even drain the battery halfway. So it was an unpleasant surprise on the way back to see the indicator flashing red, indicating that the battery was almost fully drained. It literally died while entering the elevator at the resort and had to be pushed back to the room. I used the scooter a few times after returning home, but then disconnected the battery and parked it. I needed it just this week and connected the charger to top off the battery before using it again. After a few hours of charging the indicator on the charger, and then on the scooter, showed a full charge. However, as soon as I started to drive the scooter the battery indicator fell off to almost nothing and the scooter died. I repeated the charge and operate routine several more times but it barely made any difference, the battery would not hold a charge. I contacted Vive today to report this and was told that, because the six month warranty had expired two weeks ago, they would not replace the battery, and would not offer any accommodation other than a 5% discount on their already overpriced batteries. They also told me that they recommend putting it on the charger at least twice a week. That little snippet isn't mentioned anywhere in the manual and it's not even necessary when a battery is disconnected from any load. It's worth mentioning that other companies offer a one year warranty on their batteries. It's also worth noting that, in a time when everything seems to be going up in price this has gone down significantly. Why? So, with better customer support, and perhaps better quality parts, this could be a worthwhile purchase because, when it was working it performed well.

Disappointed
I was at first very pleased on receipt of this scooter. I had used it every day since march. Imagine my horror when I switched it on in the bathroom to find it completely dead. I managed to get back to my room and get onto my spare one, but as an OAP and completely iMobile I was frightened. I contacted Vive who replied very quickly telling me what to do, by pressing a reset button.but I'm reluctant to use it Incase it happens again. I don't know what the answer is. But be aware of this happening if you purchase one. Over all before this happened I was very pleased with it , it is a good looking machine and seemed to work well.
