This is perfect for my and my husband’s hair. The product functions as intended, definitely worth the buy. The size is good and doesn’t take a lot of space for storage.

The hood takes a while to heat up, but both parts work and the steam flow is amazing. Easy to take apart and put together.

This product is easy to assemble, works well.

I don't use it, but my wife swears they make her life easier. This makes my life easier.

Long Review: I don't usually write long reviews, but I wanted to encourage someone that may be like myself where reviews really help to make a decision on an important purchase. I am African American with very thick, natural hair. It is a blessing and can also be a task to keep the moisture in it. With that being said, after watching several YouTube videos, I found out that my hair is "low porosity". It takes forever to dry, like 2-3 days sometimes. Thick products and products in general can be very difficult to absorb in my hair, making it very prone to dryness. Therefore, I began to search for something that would help my hair stop being so dry. My hair has been dry for awhile now, but after finding out that a steamer can be very helpful for low porosity hair - I decided to give this a try. After applying a deep conditioner, plastic cap, and sitting under the steamer for no longer than 20 minutes - my hair has never felt or looked so moisturized. I have noticed growth as well, as I've been wearing mostly protective hairstyles. Once I rinse the deep conditioner out, I apply the LCO (leave-in, cream, oil/grease) method. This works better for my thick, coarse hair. And, I noticed the lighter the product the better. If you're on the fence about purchasing a steamer, let me encourage you to do it. Your hair will thank you for it! It's made a difference in my haircare regimen. Hope this helps someone.

I love this product because it makes my hair feel so soft after when treatment so I do it at least about once a week. Very good quality product. I love it.

After reading a few reviews, I do agree that it leaks from the lower end of the head piece. If you keep the vent full closed this will happen. Opened the vent ontop and it didn't happen at all. Yes, you will get a burning sensation but that's with any hair dryer, hair steamer and etc. The only down fall to this is.... You can't adjust the neck of the machine for it to tilt up or down. But other than that it works. After using it for months and making sure the water container is dry, I now have mold. This product must have a way of cleaning the inside. For those who responded to my question about the mold/mildew... There is no way of wiping the water container because it is all one unit. If there was a way to disassemble the product without destroying it, I would do it. My opinion!! This product should have the top made to where you can unscrew it. The complete top where pour the water into the container, this will make it be possible to clean. I do love this, but it needs to be taken back to the drawing board. I hope the manufacturer is able to make this happen and make the water container bigger and hood deeper so that it can get the full head steamed (mainly the back area) and this product would be better.

This hair steamer is awesome! My hair's so hydrated and moisturized, I'm stoked I got it – no more salon trips! What a great investment.
