Doesn’t fit properly.
After installing I could not snap the back plate on all the way which would caused a boot error. If only there was enough space inside the console, then I don’t think there would have been an issue. That said I ended up keeping it because it did work with the backplate off. I watched one installation videos that told me to clip the one little piece of plastic preventing a good closure. Once that was done, it closed much easier and ran just fine. One moder suggests this is a bad place to have the ssd because it gets hot in this one spot; but in the video he was pointing that it would be in a spot just above where it will actually sits with this adapter. So far I have no issues but haven’t tested the temperatures. I’m sort of playing Russian roulette because I’d much rather have 2.7 more tb’s then only 30gb’s left of space.
