Long enough to keep my distance from the dubias, soft tip to protect my tarantula in case she chomps down. Couldn't be better!

These tongs are a great size, very long easy to reach into extra large enclosures. The color is nice they are stainless steel and very sheen. The grip is not the strongest very easy for insects to maneuver out of however, I do like how the tongs tips are silicone dipped and do not slide off. Overall the item is good just make sure to have a tight hold on the tongs while using!

Good tongs, It won't hurt her teeth but the grip isn't great.. I have a hard time grabbing her live feeders and the escape. The size is good but not great for grabbing.
